Far too sensible to be passed...

We can but hope, though cutting the squad first might be an idea, before we go out and get more new players. There's a TV programme about helping families clear out their junk - maybe our management need to watch it?😇😁🤗

If their style of play is still the same as last season, Hungerford will be no loss to the NLS.

However, all is going to be fine now, because the revamped European Super League will ensure more money is going to trickle down to our level. Yeah, right...

Oldham's 4-2 win puts then nine points clear of us and still with three games in hand. Dorking are now just outside the drop zone, eight points and two games in hand from us. Suspect it will not be us rather than them escaping the drop, but if Gateshead win their game in hand, they will join us in the relegation zone.

Couple of important games tonight - especially Oldham v D&R. York home to Solihull and Halifax home to Barnet.

We will need to learn how to do crosses and corners if he does come here! Also, if he is any good, why would Orient loan him out? Sorry....

Both, because if we stay up, we need money to do better. However, more than likely it will be neither, in which case am happy be in the NLS for a couple of seasons while the club sorts out a proper plan to not only get promotion, but compete well in the NL afterwards. We weren't ready last time and clear we aren't again and I really don't want us to be a yo-yo club anymore.

Meanwhile Liz Truss clearly unrepentant and blames her sacking on "City Leftists". Somehow think that leftist doesn't really go with those who work in the financial sector, Liz. Good example of an oxymoron though.

Makes for a good title if nothing else. Back in November, we were leading 2-1 at half time, then Hoyte was somehow sent off in the 50th minute and the wheels came off, ending with us losing 5-2. Can't help feeling referees in Hampshire owe us something. We were doing similarly well at H&W a few years ago, had a player wrongly sent off and also lost 5-2. Eastleigh are 9th at the moment, only outside the playoffs on goal difference, so wonder if they might be more interested in that, with winnable league games coming up v D&R, Maidenhead, us, Bromley and York. Their only loss this year was at Wealdstone. They don't score that many - just one more than us in fact, but have only conceded 36, so their GD is zero. Looking at the table, Yeovil are arguably the most boring side in the league having scored just 25 and let in 28. Stones fans who have attended every league game this season saw us pass 100 goals on Saturday, 68 of them sadly at the wrong end. Similarly loyal Dorking fans are up to 113.

Oops. Make that four then. Seems that there there is always at least one club that is struggling in the league, who go deep into a cup competition. Not sure many win it though.

Hard to know what to make of the game from the highlights - a handful of chances, plus the goals and not much else. Fine header from JBR for the equaliser and suspect Hak would not have been happy about their second goal. George neither I guess, but he keeps such things within the changing room. What George does do is talk a lot about tactics and seems he tries hard to set up the team to nullify each opposition. Better than Hak's "work hard and then work harder" ethic, though George does say that as well. Hopefully, the team will very much be up for the trip to Eastleigh, where we were doing fine last time until the sending off. Keep all eleven on the pitch and we may have a chance, especially as it will be just one game from Wembley after that.
