One point from three at Yeovil. Another twelve up for grabs. Big George slowly building his team with meagre resources.
Oldham Vs Maidstone. Saturday February 18th.
Maidstone Vs Eastleigh. Tuesday February 21st.
Maidstone Vs Gateshead. Saturday February 25th.
Maidstone Vs Scunthorpe. Tuesday February 28th.
Would expect to pick up a few from those to move above the bottom spot. Plus the glory of an FA Trophy run:
Eastleigh Vs Maidstone. Saturday February 11th.

Balloons are easily punctured.
Expect swordy to appear with a long, sharp needle

Balloons are easily punctured. Expect swordy to appear with a long, sharp needle That's a bit understated for Sword, it's more likely to be something big and explosive!

I'll not burst the balloon because I have faith that George is the man to take the club forward albeit after a big step backwards. We will win games coming up but we've left too much to do to stay up this season. I would like us to have a real crack at the trophy this year. We have never been past the quarter final in either of our existances ,last time we got there we tamely surrendered at home to Stockport,so let's go for it,an end of season trip to Wembley would be a dream come true. I have been there 3 years on the trot as Whitley Bay completed a hat-trick of FA Vase wins but to see the Stones fans walking down Wembley way would be a dream come true even if we didn't win i could then die a happy man. We are down so let's target the Trophy.

I would have taken a day out at Wembley and relegation to the South at the beginning of the season in all honesty.
Feel it's very unlikely we'll get there (and watch the utter bastards move venue to Loftus Road or somewhere last minute if we do), but we can only hope!

We've won 7 or 8 games all season, and three of those in the early months.
I can see much reason to be optimistic.

George Fowler named Player of the Month for January.
Well deserved. My Consistency imo.
A def retainer for next season.

Rumour has it that Harry Smith, striker with Leyton Orient, could be on his way to Stones on loan.
