Staying up every time for me. I don't want a consolation prize, I want to stay where we belong.
Not that we stand a chance of getting to the final anyway!

Both, because if we stay up, we need money to do better. However, more than likely it will be neither, in which case am happy be in the NLS for a couple of seasons while the club sorts out a proper plan to not only get promotion, but compete well in the NL afterwards. We weren't ready last time and clear we aren't again and I really don't want us to be a yo-yo club anymore.

We are going down like it or not. A Trophy final would be massive for the club and fans and is achievable 3 draws and 3 penalty shoot outs is within bounds and we can play well at times, well enough to draw anyway.

We're a million percent going down but, bar an incredibly unfortunate series of events, I imagine we'll be back sooner rather than later (as someone else said, we are a yoyo club). I think this seasons abject performances and bad recruitment have proven this is not where we belong at all yet - bobbing between the National and National South is actually probably our level. Like it or not, we're Norwich / Fulham / Bournemouth, etc.
So, a cup final would be by far my choice. Go down, rebuild next season and come back savvier in a season or two, having had our big day out at Wembley, no question in my mind at all. I think people don't appreciate how huge getting to Wembley would be!

Go down, rebuild next season and come back savvier in a season or two I remember people saying that in 2019, yet here we are now, and we clearly didn't learn anything from our first spell in this league.

As I say, we're a yoyo club in my eyes. I think successfully staying up next time round would only be for a year max, if that, before going back down. I don't quite get what needs to change for us to settle as a mid-table, consistent National side but we aren't there yet. The answer almost certainly is 'more investment', I guess...

We are still some way from being technically down, and while there's life, there's hope.
As for being a yo-yo club, we are - but only by accident. The first time we failed to stay up was more down to mismanagement of the club - not giving Jay the support and facilities he needed, and the second time was just down to Hak not being up to the job.
With the club run properly and a decent manager, I think we could easily be lower mid-table in the NL. There are plenty of other clubs of a similar size and funding (or less) that manage it - why not us? Given a few years in the NL and I thnk we could become a regular mid-table club, with even the odd appearance in the play-offs.
It's basically down to the manager - we've just got to get someone in who knows how to get the right players in and motivate them.
Not easy, perhaps, but definitely doable.

Staying up all day long but if all we can get out of this season is a trip to Wembley Id take that too!
Problem is that our opponents will get more serious about this competition at semi final stage so if they are NL opponents we will really need the rub if the green to make it.

For someone who cannot accept we are down your plan for the future really is pie in the sky.We may never go back up,we have no God given right to go back up and if T&O refuse to budge on the asking price for the club we could find ourselves being a yo yo club between NLS and Isthmian Premier as they slowly recoup their investments via budget restraints.None of us knows what the future holds with the exception of the fact WE ARE GOING DOWN!

I've been saying we're down for weeks - and thinking it for months. But that doesn't change my opening statement. I don't believe T&O will do anything to damage the club that they went to such lengths to save.
