Makes for a good title if nothing else. Back in November, we were leading 2-1 at half time, then Hoyte was somehow sent off in the 50th minute and the wheels came off, ending with us losing 5-2. Can't help feeling referees in Hampshire owe us something. We were doing similarly well at H&W a few years ago, had a player wrongly sent off and also lost 5-2. Eastleigh are 9th at the moment, only outside the playoffs on goal difference, so wonder if they might be more interested in that, with winnable league games coming up v D&R, Maidenhead, us, Bromley and York. Their only loss this year was at Wealdstone. They don't score that many - just one more than us in fact, but have only conceded 36, so their GD is zero. Looking at the table, Yeovil are arguably the most boring side in the league having scored just 25 and let in 28. Stones fans who have attended every league game this season saw us pass 100 goals on Saturday, 68 of them sadly at the wrong end. Similarly loyal Dorking fans are up to 113.

Very tempted to get the train down, but Trainline is giving me a headache: to actual Eastleigh is £40 return but to Southampton Airport Parkway, which is much closer to the ground, adds another £20 - £30 on despite only being an extra 2 miles down the road.
Anyone got any money saving solutions on how to get from Eastleigh town to the ground on a budget? 45 minute walk - if I take my dad, no way are his dodgy knees pulling that off.

Why would you take your dad? What has the poor fella done to deserve that? 😂

If Beastly play their full first team because they are up for this we will probably lose two or three nil but if they are casual about the trophy and rest key players - and provided Mersin isn’t in goal - we could easily sneak it and really fuel dreams of a lovely Wembley day out.

My southern bureau of information tells me you can get the Line 2 bus from Eastleigh Station to the ground for the princely sum of £ 2 each way, depending on whether daddy has a bus pass in which case he goes for nowt. The journey is around 20 mins.

I was going to say I know there is a bus which comes from Eastleigh town along the main road. Pretty sure (like Sword65 said) it's the number 2...... Timetable here: www.bluestarbus.co.uk/services/BLUS/2?date=2023-02-11&direction=inbound&all=onStop outside the Ground is St Nicholas Church (expanding the map)..... For me from Havant it's a couple quid cheaper to go into Eastleigh (need to go via Fratton) then to Parkway (need to go to Southampton Central first)....but there's more pubs closer to Eastleigh.....

I have thought long and hard about this trip but have decided for financial purposes to head for the big game at Larkfield v Snoddies instead.

Looking at the odds for Saturday ,Eastleigh are rightly 4/5 favourites and we are 13/5, the same price as the draw.Smart money should be on a home win but the draw looks a good price to me.

For anyone hoping Eastleigh would rest a lot of players you are out of luck, 10 of today's starting 11 played last Saturday against Woking.
