Bookies say we are 4/7 favourites and the Beavers are way out at 4/1 with the draw at 12/5. I wasn't there Saturday but all your responses point to 4/1 being the way to go. It would be lovely if we could (a) win and (b) win well, another 7-2 would be nice. Hampton have had a poor start and arrive at the Gallagher Rock bottom (I think) so they'll be looking to kick start their season and if i remember rightly fixtures between us do not usually end up with the correct number of players on the field so let's hope we have a good ref who keeps the red card firmly in his pocket. I've predicted a draw and a lowish attendance as midweek is usually lower and Saturdays effort may knock off 100 as well.

Saturday's predictions were 100% for a home win and seem strangely optimistic for this one too. Let's hope George has better plans and that Fowler and Greenidge are both available. Officials who know what they are doing might give us a better chance as well.

Just watched their highlights against Chelmsford away in a game they should have won. They have plenty of pace up front so it won't be easy.I'm going for a nervous 1-0 to the stones with an attendance of 2100.

I doubt that George Fowler will be fit as Dave says he’ll be out for at least the mandatory week. Hopefully Riess is fit enough to start and maybe Raphe as he was involved in the warm up. I‘ve heard that Charlie Seaman has a hamstring injury so could be out for a while and Jordan Higgs could be a while after picking up a foot injury at Folkestone.

Thank you, really couldn't be bothered to dial up the table hence the (I think). Hampton though will not pleased with that start and will be up for it, will we?

Surprised to see Fowler back in the starting eleven. Obviously not concussion after all.

I’ve had to leave the match early.
We aren’t going to score many are we?
Last season we started like this but Levi scored out of very little. This season we are the same slow, unimaginative side and I can’t see many goals in the side.

The reports (or lack of them) on X suggest that was a pretty dull 0-0 draw. Was there anything worthy of note?

Absolutely woeful not creativity whatsoever, the forward line looks a big problem already we’ve bought 2 strikers but we haven’t bought goalscorer very worrying at moment

I'm sure George and his staff will spend hours analysing it on their damned computers. The computers need ditching immediately and if George cannot manage a non league football team without a computer then maybe he needs ditching as well . I've backed George from before he was made manager but I'm beginning to feel he isn't up to it,let's face it the FA Cup run was the only thing that kept him in the job last year when we were playing abysmal football.
