George speaks from the heart and was obviously disappointed by the supporters reaction at the final whistle. He did lose his rag but it have blown over quickly enough if his reaction hadn't gone to print. Anyhow, happy enough with his latest statement. George is a really nice guy and Stones are lucky to have him as manager. Funny enough he was photod with my 2 kids only last Saturday. He was great with them. Happy days again.

George knows that his reaction was ott. These things happen, it's a strength and a weakness. On balance though I def want a manager to show his passion. Let's get behind the team and George on Saturday.

Bit of a storm in a teacup.
Over and done with now.
Move on.

Actually, this is a great statement from George. The first one was very much heat of the moment stuff, this one is properly thought out. Feels like it was heart and head working together. Anyhow, all sorted now, onwards and upwards. In George we trust.

Tbf I think George's initial reaction to our supporters wasn't exactly brilliant, but his statement today puts it to bed once and for all. We still have a young and inexperienced manager in post and he will continue to learn and develop. All part of life's rich tapestry. We move on together, stronger than ever.

I’m glad we have a manager with passion who cares about things.

George knows he made a mistake. He's owned up to it and said sorry. It's the right thing to do. Will he make other mistakes ? Probably, but unlikely to make the same one. He's a very honest and genuine person. Shedloads of passion and emotion. Just what we need and want imo !

Glad George took time out to release a statement. Read it and happy with it. Definitely does it for me. Over and done with, let's move on.

Let's get behind the team and George on Saturday. Totally agree. Many of the greatest managers of all time have been highly charged, passionate and emotional. Ferguson and Brian Clough just to name two. George shows his class with apology imo. For what its worth I will always applaud the team if I feel they've given 100% effort even if a performance is below par but to label fans who don't as not real fans was a mistake which George has acknowledged. I do think one ingredient to get this squad firing on all cylinders is confidence and us fans can help with this by getting behind them, which we mostly do.

At least one idiot on Facebook trying to put a negative spin on this, saying George only apologised because he had to.

Lets hope we get a good reaction on the pitch! Its good George can see he did wrong on tues night. Leta hope he now see's the tactics are wrong and we start playing some decent football. Hoofball should be reserved for when we play bigger teams in cup runs.

Wonder why we had to pay for three police officers for a handful of away fans.

Wonder why we had to pay for three police officers for a handful of away fans. If your crowd is of a certain size you need to I believe
