Among the euphoria, I just wanted to have a thought about Bill. What a day this is for him. He has been on that same journey as all of us from getting to the football league, to playing at places like Snodland and Paddock Wood and then through the leagues to get back to the Conference (I still like to call it that). Today was for the fans, but it should also be for Bill. If there is one person who deserves more than anyone else to sit down with a jar tonight and feel very, very, satisfied, it must be him. If you read this, Bill, we salute you, you deserve this success as much as anyone else. Very well said, in fact I will raise a glass to Bill right now, and another one, and another one. To you Bill.

How the hell is gate size irrelevant?? It's the main bloody point, number of fans wanting tickets against number of tickets being (unfairly) allocated.

I think we've had one or two of these at The Gallagher this season (allegedly). Top refs

I am sure 'John' looked very fetching in his red trousers at the Sutton game. Wasted his money though cos they lost and he hasn't worn them since. By the quivering voice I don't think he'll ever really get over it. Also nice of the presenter to prefer the sound of his own voice and mishear the Maidstone shirt/Manchester shirt comment due to the fact that he kept bloody talking over them.

I was speaking to Maidstones top referee over the weekend and he said whatever league we are in next season we won't have to have the pleasure of Ian "Tommy" Cooper in a league game. He has been promoted, yes, I said promoted, to the football league division 1 and 2, but not as a referee, but as an assistant referee !!! He should pi$$ off even more people next season but thankfully not us. Thanks Tony G. How the hell can that clown get promoted? Oh well, good luck to those poor buggers next season but at least he's not reffing.

Whatever happens, we will not get the allocation we feel we deserve. Lets get as many tickets as we can wherever in the ground and make as much bloody noise as possible. Great support all season, let's push till the end.

Sadly, my boss thinks that football should come second to the job that pays my bills (just). That's what you get with a Sheffield United fan I guess. I will be listening in, watching twitter and everything else I can reach to keep me updated. Good luck to those travelling down, good on ya, make some noise for me. See you on Sunday, a day which the bitter Sheffield United fan tells me is my own. COYS!!!

Hope there is not .why not give everyone a red scarf and a steaming hot bowl of scouse we can also show boys from the black stuff on the bar first, and re runs of the liverbirds after the game . They all want millions in compo....pay them out and we can draw a line under it ,just like Bradford ,Ibrox, and Hysel . let's never forget that innocent fans were murdered by fans of the same club 4 years earlier . The Italian press at the time of Hillsborough claimed payback from God and justice was done . Was this a karma what goes around comes around ? I'd love you to stand in Stanley Park and spout this rubbish, see how long you last. I will save the swearing and the insults because clearly that's what you are trying to stir up.

As A lifelong Liverpool fan, through thick and thin etc, I came home from playing local football at the age of 22 years old and sat and watched the awful horror on the screen that afternoon and I admit that I cried. Yes I cried, but I was so far removed from it yet it still affected me. I can never ever imagine what the individuals and their families went through. I have watched documentaries, read books and heard opinions over the years covering all angles and it still beggars belief that people lied, people lied not only to cover their own backs and to protect their jobs but they lied to make it appear that it was typical low-life drunken football yobs that were to blame. I still remember Boris Johnson calling them drunken yobos, future Prime Minister?? Not with my vote. Thankfully the truth has finally been heard but sadly this will go on and on. I am glad the 96 can somehow be left to Rest In Peace but there is so much still to be dealt with. Mackenzie and Duckenfield for a start but many many more will never be held to account. The FA decided to hold that match there, there of all places, the same ground that Spurs fans reported 8 years earlier. That place where the safety certificate was out of date. So, as well as many others mentioned, someone or some people in the FA need to be accountable too. God bless 96, never forgotten.

I have just found this quote from referee Ian Cooper. I think the answer might be NO, YOU MUPPET!!
“I played in a few Sunday League teams with my mates and wasn’t as good as them,” says Ian Cooper, a 26-year-old car bodywork repairer from Kent. “So I thought if I can’t make it at the top level as a player maybe I can do it as a referee.”

I had the wonderful experience of standing in the Town End for the home game when the Whitehawk fans decided to come and wave their keys in the air (oh how it made me laugh) and was around 6 feet away from said pink coated individual. In the highlights video I can be seen shuffling uncomfortably as the events unfolded. Suffice to say I will not be seeking her company on Saturday, but for the record I am sure she is a lovely lady. Ahem.

I think most of those questions were answered in the interview that Oliver and Terry did a few weeks back.

2-0 Sutton 88 minutes gone. Could anybody see a result other than this?

Wouldn't it be nice to get a "Greet and meet" in the Spitefire lounge at the end of the season with the main forum contributors/managers and get to know who these people are behind their Avatar profile ?!? ... What do you think of the idea ? ... We might need extra stewards to keep some of you at bay , but it could also be fun !! 'Spitefire Lounge' how apt.
