If and when the riverside stands get built the club could allocate maybe a proportion of it to away support next to the away contingent at the town end.
Not too many bucks to be made from extra seating and is it 950 extra ?
Only about 4 rows I seem to recall.
If the club could sustain attendances of 2,500 -3,000, I guess the possibility becomes a probability.

The point of the seats is to meet long tern league 2 requirements once the town end is lso finished minimum nu.ber of seated accommodation which is 2000.probably would need to be 5 rows to achieve that . The clubs purchase of the land strip on that side make the space possible for development. There would be an access path behind or under the stand.

I’m ok with the away fans having their section of the Genco when needed. It’s only really Tonbridge, Ebbsfleet and Dartford and perhaps some of the end of season games against our rivals at the top of it stays as it is.
I can handle that. I stand at the other end of the Genco anyway.
It think the coin throwing will be hard to stop but I am sure the club will work hard to. Perhaps some CCTV might put people off.
Long term, I am sure the club will pick the best option to rehouse the away fans if they think they need to. The ground could probably benefit with some more facilities at the Genco end anyway.

I'm not ok with away support stuffed up against the enthusiastic, boisterous, youngest and noisiest of our home support. Fair enough in NLS, it is only a very few occasions when we have to gift our KOP to visitors. In the National League it could become the norm for maybe 50% or more of matches. We need a better solution.
Forget about EFL requirements, let's live in the real World.

The Genco stand is great for the home supporters. But why give the best views in the stadium to visitors. The aggro is just a side show. Let's look after the home support first. I am a home supporter yet you want to kick me out of the town end where I have stood since the ground opened. Thanks mate🤬

Where do you plan to stand when they close the Town End for a season to rebuild it?

I'm a Stones supporter who used to stand at the Town End but moved down to the Genco when it opened. So much more better views, so much better in every way. Just no comparison between the 2 ends. The Gallagher is the home of the Stones. Let the Genco house our supporters.

Comparing the Genco Stand to the Town End Stand doesn't stand up to any serious scrutiny. In every way the Genco comes out on top. Just seems to make sense to transfer the facilities down the end where Stones supporters gather in greater numbers by far. They are all temporary structures or portable buildings so not the issue some people are making out.

I guess this is all about growing pains as the club flirts between the different tiers of football hierarchy. The closer you get to the EFL then segregation becomes the norm and football stadiums are organised and used with that in mind. The NLS is the last bastion of non league football with the National League being very much a hybrid. For the time being the discussion rages on between the modernisers and the traditionalists.

Not guilty sir, the Lordswood one was Chris Bryen who sadly passed away 2 months ago.Yes I still misbehave especially if I am in a foul mood but thankfully those days are few though I have been known to be ejected from the odd ground or two over the years. I had a few punchups during the wilderness years one of which was coming to the rescue of PBB who was being attacked by a Stansfeld OB club official. I will say though that my misdemeanours are face to face encounters I don't throw things from 30 ft away then hide among the masses like our cowardly troublemakers.

No,let's just kick the poor old cripple in the bollocks,he won't mind if it's for the benefit of a few hundred away fans. And after all you'll be alright and that's all that matters to you isn't it.
