What are your favourite memories of Ipswich?
Travelling by train via Cambridge due to rail strikes and being the only Maidstone fan on the train.
Pre game meal at Isaac’s chatting with a local family who struggled for league tickets.
Walking to the ground, being gradually joined by home and away fans talking to each other.
That goal (obviously).
Tattooed female rugby loving steward who was friendly but firm where needed.
The poor miserable looking teenage Ipswich fan in the front row of their stand.
That other goal.
Maidstone are massive sung over and over instead of the usual home songs.
The final minutes holding on to the lead.
The final whistle and everyone going mad.
Walking back to the station as part of an elated crowd of thousands.
Friendly locals on the train back to Cambridge saying that was their worst game ever.
Four famous Cambridge pubs before the train back home.
What sticks out in your memory?
What sticks in my memory as a Tractor Boy.
Pleased to at last get an "Easy" draw.
Annoyed that I had to give up my seat in the Cobbold.
Plenty of happy Stones before the game.
Massive pile on during the first minutes. Woodwork saving them.
One way traffic.
Going a goal down against the play. Not concerned. We were used to going a goal down and then we recover. See Southampton, Leicester, Coventry et al.
One way traffic.
Very cold day.
Equaliser.
One way traffic.
Third goal where our player had his shirt pulled so hard he actually fell on his back which then lead to the "winning goal" 7 seconds later. Cheats.
Blatant foul on our player in the penalty area which the 'Stone claimed was a dive so that we did not get a penalty. Our player was booked for having been fouled.
One way traffic.
Stones celebrating at the end
Not really caring.
League more important this year. (Look at Coventry)
Which it was.
This Premier League business is a bugg.r
