Smoke bombs and Yeovil fans getting over the barrier. Either the police and stewards can’t handle it, or the stadium layout is not fit for purpose. Hope no one got hurt outside.

Shame our morons couldn’t resist responding. Plenty of bottles flying in the opposite direction. Hope the club identifies them and bans them for life. Another big fa fine coming our way I suspect.

Yeovil should be fined or deducted points for throwing flares into our crowd

There was about 30-40 Yeovil fans after the game who were abusing and trying to attack Maidstone fans and the Police didnt know how to deal with them at all. It was a right shambles

Yeovil should be docked 17 points immediately.

They were at the pub before the game and the plod were monitoring them without doing anything. They should have done a lot more at the game - ejection, arrests, but no. They same group were still willy waving on the way back to the station - with a large police escort - but suspect the latter just wanted to be rid of them and avoid a load of paperwork.

Yeovil should be docked 17 points immediately. Certainly League needs to punish clubs in this way (and that goes either way, as we know) to have an effect on what follows them around . I remember our behaviour at Bromley a few seasons back- the club had to come down hard and it worked. There appeared a thug culture today and others who were closer than us in the Main Stand would have heard it from their Directors box- A points and place deduction would send a message. I note the earlier advice from the club to its fans.

Bloody hell sounds more like Millwall then Maidstone. When you have a mob turn up like that it extremely difficult to get in a eject someone with out causing a much bigger issue. So you need a much bigger buffer to keep fans apart and contain the situation and record the thugs police can deal with them at a later date

Alas a points deduction will not deter the idiots from coming and being, well, idiots. I read elsewhere that flares were thrown into our end well assuming we are not talking about ravey Davey's 1970's trousers I might ask why were they not properly searched on entrance. Maybe the club could identify the security/stewards who didn't do their job correctly and ask them not to bother turning up for the next game.

It’s a hard job to be security at the football. You would do well to pull 5 Yeovil fans out of 50 hostile ones.
Ultimately if you are a dick at football, you usually get away with it. You can call a bloke a wanker, chunk a coin and you’ll be unlikely to get your just desserts. Someone else will though when they get a bottle or flare in the head.

A few Yeovil fans completely out of control, stewards barely able to cope (although they did just about manage to stop them getting acroos/round the 'barrier'), Plod late and appeared to do nothing. And idiots throwing flares/smoke bombs/? into the Stones supporters. Madness.
All for a NS game??!
Yeovil need to get a grip. This is not acceptable at any level, but especially at 6th tier.

And that 'barrier' isn't of much use. If we're going to share a stand, then we need a proper, physical barrier - and police, not just stewards. Better still, segregate completely - this nonsense of sharing the EE is just asking for trouble. I know it 'can't be done', etc, etc, but it really has to be with idiots like this.

Yeovil warn their own fans about behaviour at games. www.ytfc.net/statement-supporter-behaviour/With a large crowd, all the new young fans and recent crush incident, let’s hope the police and stewards have proper control of the barrier and yellow hatching. Maybe there needs to be more stewards at the boundary and police stood at the front ready to respond, instead of on the stairs watching the game. Prescient, young Barnie. If only the club had thought it through too.
