Our football may not be exciting right now, but imagine where we would be in the league without Levi’s goals.

Fair point but ? Not really, it doesn't apply to the same extent to all other clubs. Some clubs, like Stones rely on a single striker, but it does leave us vulnerable to loss of form or injury to a single player. Who is our second top scorer and how many ? Something that George will be very aware.

Also, it’s impossible to say who else might have stepped up if Amantchi was missing. De Graft for example has had very limited opportunities and my well step up given a run of games. After all Levi looked anything but a striker in preseason.

If he wasn’t playing, another would be in his place, maybe opening up goal scoring chances for others.
But the simple fact is he is taking and scoring chances, while others are not to the same extent.
Ever the optimist, I do believe we will score a load against some poor weaker side sooner or later.

Pretty obvious that we are over reliant on one player to bulge the onion net. Yes its worked well enough so far, but other players will need to contribute more sooner or later.

Yeah I'd be surprised if Amantchi is still here at the end of January.
Hes only 22 so a league club will likely take a gamble on him at the 30-40k he will likely cost.

I couldn't find the Dover attendance yesterday but they did not make the top ten table of Kent clubs even nearby Deal Town beat them.🤣

I was explaining to Mrs Headstone today how most strikers seem to have a purple patch eg Levi this season, and then they move on and can’t hit a barn door. But usually the boot is on the other foot, and Maidstone sign the player in form who immediately loses it. Frannie Collin was an exception, Jake Robinson wasn’t. We used to call it the Pedro Knight syndrome.
