Given the 1st team squad will be returning from the Tueday night game at Halifax, probably getting home 0600 on Weds morning, don't expect any more than the full academy side bolstered by a couple of the over 60's walking team and some of Ebbsfleet ladies . If it were my call, I would forfeit the game as a middle finger to the KFA. I suspect you guys have more important games to play than this as well.

Especially as the final has been confirmed at the massive shithole that is Bromley

KFA saying the date was agreed by both clubs.
Sounds like blame shifting following the outcry.
No doubt the full story will emerge.

I doubt I’ll bother to go and watch a scratch Fleet side against whatever side we put out. Bromley isn’t my favourite destination. Would have rather played it at Stonebridge Road.

Given the fixture issues going on you would have thought this could be played after the play offs end. A day out for both sets of fans. First teams going at each other, decent ground etc. Could have even had a toss up to play at ebbsfleet or Maidstone. Nope. They went for this. They don't listen. Fans of both clubs should ignore it and leave this final as two reserve teams playing in front of 200 people.

Unfortunately or fortunately whichever way you view it Cup games for some stupid reason take precedence over league games. Football is sometimes crazy. It’s because the KSC is an FA competition. All FA competitions, however lowly, always take precedence. Thanks Dave for explaining the ‘stupid reason’. It is the FA as usual and we all know what FA stands for regards intelligent decisions.

So, just a quick recap.
Ebbsfleet United, who managed to scrape by in their relegation battle, expected us to shift this neutral game to a date in the middle of our playoff matches.
Now, remember, this is the same club that gave us the bare minimum number of tickets for a final at their stadium. They even pulled some shady manoeuvres to decrease the official capacity, all to keep many of us out.
Oh, and let's not forget their charming tactic of interrogating fans just to make sure no Stones fan finds their way to the home end. And who could overlook their "snatch squads," ready to pounce on any of our fans who dare to stick out in the away end?
And yet, they have the audacity to expect a massive favour that would undoubtedly sabotage our chances of promotion.
Nah, I think we'll pass on that one.

Its being Bromleys ground is my biggest disappointment. Parking can be a problem as its a bomb-site, food is mediocre, to say the least,. standing room only- a bugger if it rains.
Oh and the full cavity search, due to our past behaviour there.

The Swanscombe End had an official capacity long before that play-off final and didn't change. You got what you were entitled to as the away team and you've returned the favour at the Gallagher when we've played in the past. And you won in the most dramatic way possible, so you'd think the chip on your shoulder might have reduced all these years on by now. Also, let's not mention the reason the safety group wouldn't sanction it being played at Priestfield is your delightful following of little scrotes whose reputation proceeds them. Understandably you wouldn't want it played in the middle of potential play-offs but no reason it couldn't be played in pre-season and neither club is going to raise a team of out of contract players who have long since gone on holiday in mid-May.

Got to admits this post is very facty. I don’t get the continued grudge about the playoff allocation. It is also a shame that the fifty to a hundred teenage plebs are having such an impact on the 2,000 decent fans. Impact in terms of reputation, match day experience and now this

My mate, an avid Ebbsfleet fan, says their second team who’d play in the final are pretty good. It includes goal machine Dominic Poleon who can’t get into the first team at the moment, as he’s marked out of the game by those NL bullies, but might have a field day against our defence!

A strong Maidstone side didn’t exactly run rampant against Dartford reserves.

We should stick th u23 team out and give the first teamers a rest for more important games this would also give the Kent FA a jolt up the backside to sort this problem once and for all. Its a tinpot cup let's treat it like one.

Agree with swordy, f**k this shitty cup against boring fleet. play the u18's,
we want promotion. If any of our players get injured against ebbsfleet , it will cost us in the playoffs.
