And if we draw them in the FA Cup? Do they get the whole stand to themselves again? They better not, if that happens then I could see a lot of fans not going back got the rest of the season. If we get them in the FA cup then we should just give them the minimum number of tickets and stick them in the corner. There would surely be a sell out even if it was home fans only.

This incident and the previous crowd problems justifies the police/clubs decision to keep the animals as far away from our fans (and idiots) as possible. If the Genco had been shared then we might have faced a fine or worse but as it was there was no way the fans could hurl anything worse than insults. The numbers attending were known in advance and had the weather been different there was room to accommodate our fans under cover at the town end and main stand. Why not have vertical netting between the opposing groups of supporters in the Genco stand to mitigate objects being thrown?

Because this is the 21st century, not 1982. It is not unreasonable to expect and enforce minimum standards of behaviour, such as not throwing things at a crowd of people. If the police are going to impose their wages costs on a game of football, I would rather they earn their overtime bonus standing in no man’s land, rather than on the exit steps doing nothing.

Hard to believe anyone still thinks/acts like this. Even in Medway.

What an insane decision! Gives us an even better chance of winning it, but it's the KSC, so WTF cares? I think we should join with Fleet in boycotting the final - that would give the Kent FA a badly needed kick up the jacksie.

Agreed. Kent FA devaluing their flagship competition. I want to win it on merit.

Unfortunately or fortunately whichever way you view it Cup games for some stupid reason take precedence over league games. Football is sometimes crazy.
