He has already been given the job for next season. Yeah but he can still be sacked if his record is 1 win in 30 or what ever it would be And have to pay him off? No chance

No other club would appoint an interim manager with such a bad record, but hey here we are, we lose every game and George just smiles and praises everything.

Oliver has already said we are running at a loss this season another manager may demand more money than George is on and a bigger budget whereas George is happy to go with what he is given. You are expecting NLS/Isthmian level players to compete and win against NL players, its not going to happen which is why we are where we are. Would you sack let's say Jurgen Klopp if he came in and couldn't get results with sub standard players, the answer is no ,you would give him the benefit of the doubt and support him next season and yet you would happily kick George in the bollocks now and waste money on another man who cares nothing about the club and may also lose every game as well. I sometimes despair at the level of intelligence amongst our supporters. Maybe it is because he is black.

Maybe it is because he is black. Because I wanted us to actually appoint a proper manager that makes someone racist?? WHAT THE f**k ARE YOU ON ABOUT. I would be saying the exact same thing if we had just appointed anyone else who was inexperienced and had Georges's record as interim manager. For you to even suggest racism is f**king disgusting.

We all know that black managers are given a raw deal in football especially in this country,I just asked the question. There has to be a reason why you are unwilling to give him a chance at a lower level other than he is inexperienced, there are many experienced managers who could quite easily take us down to the Isthmian next year. I have asked the question, you have answered it now give the man a chance or I might just not believe your answer. Now you know how I feel when I tell the truth but people dismiss it and call me racist because they won't accept the truth.

I think he may have hinted that we are heading in the direction of a loss. The possibility of a director's loan was mentioned to cover such an eventuality. Whether or not we actually run south of the line is problematic, it could be a close run thing. We can be pretty sure that there wont be operating surpluses to invest in the club, as always we rely on Terry and Oliver.

Sorry George, I hope you do win some games from now till the end of season but I do think the owners were very soft and lazy giving you the job considering you have no experience in management whatsoever and despite being in charge since January we’ve accumulated a total of 0 league victories, not your fault entirely due to the situation you inherited however still very poor and not what club should be settling for, you should carry on with your role at the academy. Did they bolt the mail box shut when looking to hear on applicants or could they not be bothered to look for an experienced manager suitable for the job?

When will the moaners accept that George has been appointed as Stones manager for next season ?
They don't have to like it.
I'm very happy with the appointment and will give the guy and the team 100% support.

People need to get their heads around the fact that we ain't going to start winning until next season and treat our remaining games as try outs for the players, while George decides who to keep. The other sides in the NL had us sussed by Christmas and know where we are vulnerable. In addition, most of the opposition between now and the end of the season still have something to play for, so we cannot expect any favours. A bit of a pisser, but there you go. Many on this forum don't like Dover much, but they had this situation from day one of last season and it isn't a whole lot better now. Shit happens, as the Buddhists say... However, everyone has the right to comment on things they see which are bad or good, so when there is little of the latter, it is inevitable that folk will moan. It can even be quite cathartic for those who engage, while keeping those involved on their toes too

Cathartic ?
Tbh I find the the moaners simply get on my nerves, big time.
It is one thing to have a moan about events this season, but reading their depressive nonsense about next season too, doesn't do anything for me.

Controversial I know, but it's my firm belief that George will either be a success or he won't - no one can tell until next season is over.
In case of doubt, I would regard success as being in the play offs.
