So much has been disappointing this season. Problem is Stones seem to be in free-fall right now. Hak's work hard ethic for the tesm has gone missing. Latest rumour on facebook is that Hak has thrown the towel in and the club will make an announcement tomorrow. Sounds like rubbish to me. Also saying players audibly calling Hak out at out the final whistle? Supposedly Alabi and Hadler. Can't see it myself but anyone got the gossip??

With Hak not doing the post game interview, it certainly makes you think something is up.

Maybe it is time for a change? Doesn’t seem to be any shoots of recovery but a new man won’t be inheriting much.
Do like Hak though 😒

Wouldn’t surprise me if they thought it but not great for them to verbalise it

Whatever the truth is there is one thing for certain something isn't right at our club but we don't know ,and are unlikely to be told, what it is.

I've been away the past week - Berlin, straight to Nottingham for the weekend and now straight back to work. I'd be up for going if I could buy online but as has been pointed out, the club seem to want to make attending as hard as possible. Crazy, really... If I read Bill's comments rightly this is the first of four planned games with the same ticketing arrangement. I personally think its disgusting abuse of supporters as well as financial suicide. I'll say it once more this is Non League Football not the Premier league. I'll plan to go to away games then. I'm not doing ludicrous journeys just for tickets. Hoping to go to Scunny. Haven't been so a new one for me.

Walk to ground, watch team lose and not even score, walk home, repeat.
Southend were better than us. Faster, more skilled, more determined, read the game better. Men v boys.
23rd - more or less an exact repeat of the start of the 2018/19 season. Once you're this deep in the shit, especially with a huge negative GD, even this early in the season, it becomes pretty much impossible to stay up.
3 points against Yeovil is pretty much our last chance.

We couldn't beat their 9 men in the cup a while back so dont hold out much hope against 11.

Wankers. Can people not accept that this is a sport and it’s okay to be a shit team. There’s gonna be infighting soon enough Rumours on Facebook that several players expressed the opinion that Hak is not up to the job and should go. Has the infighting already started?☹ In fairness, much of the Facebook group is a cesspit of morons. In this league £21 million buys you a team just outside the play offs.

Just interesting there are a few people saying it separately to one another. Oh to have been a fly on the wall of the home changing room last night...

The way I understand it Hak and Ryan had words at half time and it all kicked off. Ryan was far and away our best player last night. Arguably the only Stones player who would get into Southend's team. It does seem that Hak has lost the dressing room. When that happens there is usually no coming back which is a shame if true. The bottom line is, it is only October and we cannot keep delivering performances like last night. Something HAS to happen. Either Hak needs more resources, or he needs new ideas.

And we got rid of Jay for running out of ideas tactically and a gulf appearing between the quality of his team and their opponents together with a apparent loss of confidence. Mmmmmm Trouble is if we don’t have the money for NL quality players we probably couldn’t afford an NL quality manager either. It does seem like we need an Uber rich new owner to truly be able to compete in this league. Shame.

He did talk to various people on the river side when there was a break in play and appeared to say that he would be going back to Sheffield. Not sure whether that was a conversation at half time or just the fact that JBW is due to come back and he would be first choice.....

Rumour, rumour, rumour. Ok no question we were outclassed last night by a middle of the table team. They looked World class compared to our players. Sadly, Stones seemed disjointed with precious little passing ability, not enough movement, too often outfought, with Southend winning most of the second balls, better possession and much more goal threat. Mens against boys. No idea if Hak is selecting his best players or getting his tactics right. But performances and results def pose the question. The old chesnut about whether Hak has lost the dressing room has surfaced in lots of quarters. If he has lost players then something has to change but that doesn't necessarily mean Hak imo. If we have disloyal players on the books they need to be got rid and quick The attendance last night was dismal given the support from Southend who gave their team plenty. Good for them ! The ticketing arrangements were shocking, no way would I have attended if I wasnt a STH. Loads of other people obviously felt the same. This thread is aptly titled.
