In truth we were played off the park by Southend. They were simply better at everything. The team has def lost its way. I could go on about our defending, but midfield was hardly better and our attack carried little threat. All in all very disappointing. Attendance just over 2,200 with 500 Southend supporters who were plenty loud enough. All ticket

So our new centre back pairing are as bad as the old centre back pairing .Ho hum! Can’t just throw players in and form a partnership just like that. Takes ages to gel.

It’s not even that we’re bad. A little luck and better finishing could have seen a goal or two. But the top clubs are streets ahead of us in skill, strength and tactics. Really need to get something against Yeovil.

What’s going on with the Ash out stuff I heard around the Gallagher tonight? Wankers. Can people not accept that this is a sport and it’s okay to be a shit team. There’s gonna be infighting soon enough

Credit where it is due to Southend, and their fans, who dominated us as much as their team did. Shame that Scott - Morris was such a petulant little shit. 2200? Don't think so, especially with the main stand half empty. Usual season ticket holders being counted, but what's the point? Numbers should tell who is actually there as it gives a true indication of who actually bothers to turn up. We are too slow, with little intensity in our game. Booty's long passes are nice to watch, but just don't work in this league, while Corne can't get a look in it seems. Barkers shows some nice touches, but again, no pace or urgency. Barham made an effort in the first half, but barely noticed him in the second, while Alabi is just out of his depth in this league. Occasional flashes from Deacon, while Pattisson still shows what pace can do, but hasn't got the game to go with it. So hardly surprising the defence looks weak when there is so little in front of them. Galvin looks ok, while Mensah and Greenidge aren't the worst. I worry about Hoyte though, who seems off the pace these days and was badly caught out for their third. Try Ellul at right back maybe? Until we can learn to play with pace and intensity we are only going one way. Yeovil next and only a point above us. If we can't beat them, our season is pretty much finished.

What’s going on with the Ash out stuff I heard around the Gallagher tonight? Young fans with premier league mentality thinking that another owner will come in and spunk tonnes of money on us, when reality is no one has the clubs best interests at heart than the current owners do.

We were pitiful. Very, very poor performance.
Mersin makes me nervous anytime he's on the ball. His decisiveness and distribution are horrendous.
Barkers, for someone who I would guess is about 6ft 4, I don't think has ever won an aerial challenge.
Alabi is shocking. Must be about 15 stone of muscle but gets bullied constantly. Bad in the air, terrible off the ball, so on and so on.
Love the man but Hoyte looks so far out of his depth in this league. Looks miles off it.
I could keep going, there's very few redeeming factors.
A positive? Ryan Galvin. Came out of that one looking very decent despite the result, but his loan ends soon. Ho hum.

Totally agree about Hoyte. No composure on the ball at all. He is supposed to be our captain and setting an example. Maybe try Mensah at right back and get ellul back in the middle. Another one that needs dropping is deacon. What does he actually do? I didn’t think he was good enough last season so there was no chance he would be good enough this season. Tactics are so bad and that has to come from the manager. What does Hak coach them during the week. Can’t wait to hear the same old crap in the 2 minute interview that we get. You hear nothing all week from anyone at the club and we get a 2 minute crap interview from Hak after a game. Something is totally wrong behind the scenes at the club.

Did anyone else notice Deacon was playing pretty much as a right back, especially in the first half, as he was having to cover for Hoyte’s inadequacies. He can still read the game ok but he is way out of his depth at this level now. Deacon having to be an extra RB - so leaving us a man short in midfield then. Corne was nowhere to be seen the entire game really, no wonder the center of defence is constantly under pressure.

Hoyte - Mensah - Greenidge in the middle and then Deacon and Galvin as wing backs.

So much has been disappointing this season. Problem is Stones seem to be in free-fall right now. Hak's work hard ethic for the tesm has gone missing. Latest rumour on facebook is that Hak has thrown the towel in and the club will make an announcement tomorrow. Sounds like rubbish to me.
