If survival depends on taking points from clubs near the bottom of the table, this is one we should be hoping to get something from. I like the six game mark; proper form can be measured against real opposition and a chance to reflect on our own progress. No shame losing to Dorking or Wrexham and a few points many didn’t expect. Torquay forum talking about Maidstone being rubbish can only come from those who didn’t watch on Saturday or unaware of last season. Let’s hope opponents keep underestimating little old Maidstone and we build up enough of a cushion for a very tough end of season. Aldershot 1 Maidstone 1, attendance 2263.

Point would be fine. 3 would be brilliant. Loss would be disappointing.
The performance is massive. I want to see the second half from Saturday replicated the whole match.

Dont agree in the saying "no shame is losing to these bigger clubs" 9 goals conceded and the manner of the performances is not acceptable. It is not to be expected as if we just have to be battered when we play above average teams. Just as well we have Hak and Terry who wont take such a defeatist attitude.

Absolutely correct Stony. Just rubbish to think we should be happy getting thrashed by the top teams Not that I think Dorking is a top team in this league. We need to be competitive and go into these matches with a tactical plan and some 'hope'. I'm totally realistic as a supporter and think a mid table finish would be a great achievement If we just fall short of that then we will still be clear of relegation places, hopefully with a bit to spare. But it just cheeses me off to hear from fellow supporters that we should expect and accept beatings (no shame) from just about every decent club in this league.
As for today, it will be close, taking nothing for granted, one goal in it, either way.

Is anyone else having problems booking seated tickets? I've tried on my phone and laptop and I can't get beyond the 'Secure Payment Options' section - nothing loads so I can't progress beyond there to get tickets. It's so secure I literally can't get past it...

Don't think anybody was happy with the Wrexham game, but do think a wake up call was inevitable this season. Learning from it is what's important and they did well to bounce back on Saturday. Certainly hoping for something from Aldershot, then an interesting run of games coming up with the long trip to Gateshead, followed by the visit of Solihull and Wealdstone - the latter having started like a rocket this season. Just no easy games!

The one problem that may affect us today is gap between games, less than 48 hours recovery after playing on a 3G pitch may be a tough test of our players fitness levels.Though I don't have the facts to hand I think we have always,or nearly always, struggled on a Monday after a Saturday game.

Interesting that after 2 bad defeats our win on Saturday was enough for the bookies to make us 5/4 favourites today with Aldershot at home are down at 2/1.

On Twitter
We are aware that there is currently an issue with taking payment for match tickets. We have spoken with our ticketing provider Flowte and they are currently working on fixing the problem.
The Club Shop will be open at 12 and will be selling tickets!
