According to Flashscores, it went from 0-0 to 0-3 to 1-3 in just SIX minutes! Wish I'd been there to see that - there must have been scenes!

Will this be seen as the game where Christie Pattisson came of age? Sounded like Aldershot couldn't handle him at all. A great afternoon for all the travelling fans, that will go a long way towards making up for the trip to Wrexham. Meanwhile, Dorking stuffed at home by BW (my heart bleeds) and we are only outside the play off places on goal difference. Ok, no point in getting too excited, but we are perhaps starting to get a better picture of how we might cope in this very difficult league.

Mad few minutes won it for us. Up to that point I think we shaded it.
Corne looked fresh for his game off. Wingers had fun.
Long Season for Aldershot

Indeed, great weekends work for the Stones and in top half of table.

If we can keep up this form against the league's weaker teams we will be fine. We have only played one team above us in the table (and we know what happened then). After Gateshead (who we must not underestimate) the fixtures are not so kind.

6 points from the weekend games, great return. Getting points on the board after wrexham, was so important, players must be back in a positive place now. Picking up points against the not so strong teams is a must.

At least Christie is not a down right cheat. I see we relegated aldershot to bottom spot. Superb performance again today especially second half.

Aldershot forum is in meltdown, with the inevitable posts claiming Maidstone are poor. I love that other clubs keep underestimating us.

Altrincham, Torquay and Aldershit fans all say we are poor yet none of them good enough to beat us. Me thinks they need to take a good look at themselves first believing they have a god forbidden right to beat promoted teams. We thoroughly deserved the victory today

We do need to tighten up at the back. We are conceding far too many chances.
I think it’s been a good start tk the arepas though, points haul wise.

View Attachment Well of course we deserved to win although they did get behind us a lot in the 2nd half and he is right that a decent striker may have changed the result. I think the game management went missing for 15 minutes but we came through it.

Shout out to Bivesh who had a good game, kept it simple kept us in possession and worked hard to keep their number 8 quiet in the first half, got on the scoresheet second half and was also very good seeing him get a great ovation from the Stones faithful when he was substituted.

So much to like about today and plenty of good individual performances BUT Shots created as many chances as Dorking. A great 3 points and very happy but Hak needs to look at our defensive game.
