At the risk of being a tell-tale, there is some serious moaning about their new main stand in the Ebbsfleet forum. Front four rows get soaked in a six row stand, with obstructed views and a roof too high (like the new hotel end). It seems £5 million can't buy happiness, or a decent view of the match. Some even demanding remedial works on an unfinished building.

Always looked like the roof would be to high to be effective, very much like the roof at Dartford where only the back 2 rows can stay out of the rain. I think the comment about restricted views was referring to the old wooden stand with all its supporting pillars.

Without logging back out to look, I think the restricted views were caused by the disabled area, which sounds like a basic design flaw on a very expensive brand new building. Can't remember one person with anything good to say about it.

Should we be reserving visiting fans a larger and more clearly defined block of (maybe fifty) seats? Or is it just tough and let's look after our own season ticket holders first? Both Aldershot and Dagenham fans have moaned about it. Perhaps even make it seated only for smaller away groups and give the whole terrace back to home fans.

It's just tough luck on them.The reason we have to segregate in the first place is mainly down to actions by their fans up and down the country over the years.All moaning should be directed at these people.

Also the issue with the new stands and fans going into them is logistics, to fix either way will cost money the better option would be for the "old" town end to be away support with a turnstile near where the smoking area is and a hut / bar there for the away support

Well until the town end stand gets rebuilt with a larger capacity then we will all be back down there.

Of the five away games I attended last year,at Wrexham,Tranmere and Macclesfield we were allocated a seating area which was easy for them to do in view of the capacity of their ground being ex League clubs. At Woking and Torquay we had a mixture of allocated seating and standing.

Our difficulty in being able to offer away fans a seating area is that most of our seating in the main stand is already sold to home Season ticket holders.

Yes but we must remember disabled people for example, not an easy thing to solve at present

Agreed JDL I'll patent and copy right this proposal just in case the club adopt it 😊
