Who do we petition to move the segregated area to the Town End? Start with talking to/contacting the Company secretary Ian Tucker. He should then pass onto the relevant parties info@maidstoneunited.co.uk Or office@maidstoneunited.co.uk

My son and I gave up going in the new stand after all the 'bouncing' accompanied by aggro on the first night. We actually enjoyed watching the Barrow game back by the team benches at the side as usual.

it takes all sorts to be a Stones fan and whilst the new stand sees some bouncing around, not so sure about the aggro you mention
my 2 boys together with all their footie chums join the youngsters bouncing around at the back of the stand, thoroughly enjoying themselves the 150 or so 'bouncers' probably take up no more than 5% of the standing area available, plenty of room is left for those who prefer to be less involved perhaps the youngsters may be a shade boisterous for some peoples liking, but they are overwhelmingly well behaved, good humoured and provide great support to the team
if you want peace and quiet to watch football, then moving to the tranquility of a riverside perch is probably the best place for you

I actually agree with you Nick. The good thing is now we all have much greater choice of views to watch our beloved stones 😀

Can I ask you mentioned aggro on the first night, does this mean the Sutton game as I don't recall any problems there, or are you referring to the first half against barrow?? I used to stand along the riverside before the new stand, but have moved to the new stand i dont stand with the main core of singers just off to the side but on away trips always join in with the noisy guys, at Dagenham I was standing next to the youngsters and would say I got 10-15 years on them but joined in with the bouncy bouncy song, they are actually a decent bunch of young men

This was near the youth, who like you say are a decent bunch and just doing what youth do. But the situation I found myself in with my 11 year old son was volatile, with me and a couple of others having to stop the men fighting, and this really scared my boy. So now just our personal choice not to go in there for now.

Wasn't aware that happened at the Sutton game and sorry that your son was witness to something like that, if the people involved read this hopefully they are embarrassed and ashamed of themselves. The thing I like most about non league football is the friendliness between the sets of fans, there are the odd few teams that are the exception but in the whole the fans are a good natured bunch and plan to bring my nephew to games when he is a little older and hope he doesn't have to the type of incident your son did.

Don't think the town end would work for housing the away fans not only due to lack of capacity but also because of the primary burger hut being in that part of the ground !! The main reason the north stand was chosen to house away fans was to keep the spitfire lounge for the home support!

That segregation separation 'barrier' was a bit odd. From the main stand it looked just like netting stretched across one of the stairways. OK for the average NL game, I suppose, but any serious hoolies would wet themselves laughing. Also, how do the police/security get up the steps if any trouble does break out?

PS - that massive Lincoln flag they unfurled and passed up the stand was pretty impressive!

Not sure tranmere are going to be as friendly as lincoln were, they caused a bit of hassle at Bromley 1st game of the season. So will be interesting to see if anything happens.
