The difference in home and away form is stark. Home: Won 0 Drawn 1 Lost 3 = 1 point Away: Won 2 Drawn 2 Lost 0 = 8 points I was going to mention this, is our crowd working against the team? Does the Genco need to give it's collective head a wobble? It's a two way thing. Be more positive and entertaining and the crowd is soon on your side. True fans will always back their team, but even the most die hard supporters still need something to cheer about and there has been precious little at home this season

As enjoyable as it is to be able to follow match progress on Stones Live…am I alone in experiencing the commentary dropping out multiple times, especially in the 2nd half today? If it is just me, what can I do to improve the experience…I’m generally not on the move and have a decent 4G signal whilst connected via Tunein radio on a newish iPhone…has happened every match so far this season ? I haven’t had any StonesLive outages for a long time now. Thank you. Maybe I’ll invest in some new earphones

Enfield was great but we HAVE to produce good form and good football at home to stop crowds dwindling in size and enthusiasm. No, I am not one of those who expects every game to be a blood and thunder thriller, but I do feel that home fans deserve their team to do everything it can to be entertaining, to fight for the badge, put in a shift etc.............ESPECIALLY when they are full-time professionals with no distractions of other jobs. I dont think thats too much to ask of the players or the Manager. We cant win every game, but we can play well and fight hard, and entertain, even if we lose. Its what they are paid for so its not unreasonable, surely?

Does the Genco need to give it's collective head a wobble? Most of them have thought thoroughly over a Ribena or two, and concluded that chanting against the management, owners and team is the best way to improve performances. It’s also some older voices who are encouraging these younger ones, and as usual, the Facebook group provides plenty of insight for those interested in studying it.

ESPECIALLY when they are full-time professionals with no distractions I think you'll find the a few of the players have other jobs, Ben Brookes works at Tilbury Docks, Sam Corne I'm pretty sure coaches. Last season Gavin Hoyte had a part time job as a delivery driver.

Not to mention “Elokobi, your football is shit”.
Whatever you think of our disappointing start, George gave us the best cup run in our history and saved us from financial problems for years to come. Show some f**king respect you little retards.

Show some f**king respect you little retards. Well so far Elokibi's football is very ugly to watch so I can see why someone would say his football is shit. And ir has been ugly for the 20months or so he's been in charge. A lot of fans lost respect when George showed what he can be like with his pathetic outburst. So he's got some way to go to earn that respect back. And calling people retards ? Nice.

Don’t care. If the cap fits, wear it. A year ago we were on our way to a £200,000 loss, didn’t have the quarter million needed for a new pitch, or all the other ground improvements required. Those little turds and their premier league supporting handlers should be on their knees with grovelling gratitude to George. How dare they?

So a year ago the club was f##ked and thats 100% on the owners. So you must have been chanting Ash&Co out every week?

You mean the owners who built and then expanded the stadium you sit or stand in, with little chance of ever getting their money back? Those owners? How quickly people forget. Ingrate.

No one is forgetting that, what people do get sick of is some fans claiming the owners can do no wrong, then you claim Georges cup run saved the club. With an average gate of over 2k, plus the money generated from pitch hire, lotto etc to be in such a shit financial situation shows something has gone horribly wrong. So are the owners that bad with money, or is George wasting all our clubs money on the crap we've been watching for so long. If we were spending money we dont have (which is 100% true , hence the cup money made ends meet) then I want to be climbing up the pyramid and not sitting near the drop zone in the national south.

The main reason for the losses was the Covid season when we played behind closed doors and got virtually nothing from the fund that was supposed to be distributed on the basis of lost gate money. But clearly you think you know more about football finances than the owners, and equally have no time for anyone who doesn’t agree with your anti owner sentiments.

I dont have a problem with the owners, I was pointing out to benny that if the owners and George were as good as he is trying to make out we wouldn't be where we are would we. Or are we now going to blame covid for it instead. Ita hilarious that so many fans will back a manager no matter what , until the day he leaves and then its "it was right for him to go" blah blah blah. The same fans think were the best team in kent etc. When in reality we are a small crap club compared to them up the road. Again if we have the best owners and best manager, why the hell are we so shit!

I’m not sure you’re right here Dave. I am sure Oliver suggested it was down to lower attendances due to poor team performance, poor recruitment, more travel costs, less bar spendings due to the rules, and player treatment. He said all of this on that Sticks n Stones podcast. I could say a rumour about a big chunk of one of the factors I mention but it wouldn’t be right knowing anyone can read it. Anyway GGS. One loss making year in however many years of ownership would likely mean “thinking fans” wouldn’t be chanting Ash&co out.
