Awful. The best team won on the day. I forecast 0-0 on the other thread so has half right. Neutrals might well have thought that the home team were playing in white. Just like the H&R game it was obvious after 10 minutes what the problems were. In this game we should have switched to a back three & put an additional player in midfield where we were being overrun. I don't agree with booing the players as they were all trying but were hampered by poor team selection & awful tactics. Stones tactics seem to be to pass sideways/back then hoof the ball forward & give away possession. Maybe George could explain to the supporters what the team tactics are? I think that Bentley & Gurung are not good enough at this level. Fonkeu was pretty invisible. The rest are OK but the decision not to retain Sam Bone seems more inexplicable as each game passes. We are seeing mid-table form at best. If George believes that he can turn it around then he should be given the chance but if he has any doubts then he should do the honourable thing. I agree with the Bentley and gurung sentlement but that was one of Biv's better games,andrade looked decent, I feel bad for Aaron Blair cause he clearly does not enjoy playing that way, we are blessed to have the defense we have |

Surely the summer recruitment and George’s leadership should be better than 16th?
I think we would have been higher and playing better if our retained list hadn’t been so short.
But that’s history now.
But it has to improve it as JDL says we are looking a lot like 22-23 and accepting we are NLS level not NL is one thing - dropping back to Isthmian is not where we should be at all.

George has managed to put a team together thats WORSE than last season

I don’t mind loosing but there’s nothing exciting to watch here whatsoever.change the. forwards about as many times as you Arron Blair aside it’s timid and weak.
He’s removed any semblance of excitement with this squad

This is a team that does not compare to last year. I thought we had a new recruitment policy. Well that worked well didnt it. They should all be sacked and not allowed to sign off on new players. Stop signing players that have done nothing from other clubs. Should be looking at signing the best players from the league below. There are better players in that division than we have signed.
George better be careful as he is losing the fan base. He needs to interact more and give us more information on injuries. The fans will also be here, you might not be. Keep us updated with the going ons at the club and let us know when we expect our injured players back.

This is a team that does not compare to last year. I thought we had a new recruitment policy. Well that worked well didnt it. They should all be sacked and not allowed to sign off on new players. Stop signing players that have done nothing from other clubs. Should be looking at signing the best players from the league below. There are better players in that division than we have signed. George better be careful as he is losing the fan base. He needs to interact more and give us more information on injuries. The fans will also be here, you might not be. The team looks better in some aspects but what it is missing, in my opinion, is the goals from Levi, Mo plus the play of Tanga and Rush. I think we underestimated how good Mo Faal was (we knew Levi was good). They have been replaced and it isn’t clicking, it to say that it won’t. |

The transition of this forum to the bastion of sensibility, in contrast with the Stones facebook group, has been rather sudden! Over there, an admin can personally abuse people who dare to suggest that booing your team isn’t helpful. |
