Hes out of contract after this game, there will be a load of clubs lining up to offer big money.....Worthing's ex manager at York will surely be one of them.

Bugger. Was thinking about streaming the game, but didn't. Sounds like it was a cracker.

I was in two minds about this - but, in the end, I thought it was probably best if Worthing won, as I don't want them in the NS next season, buggering up our chances. And, anyway, the idea of Braintree in the NL is plainly fascicle!
But then, when I found out the result this evening, I suddenly realised just how deeply I wanted Worthing to lose! Late goals, eh? How much do you like them now?!
Cheered me up remarkably!

Odusanya is someone I wish we had kept Totally agree. I wanted us to keep him too, but wasn’t surprised when he was released. He’s skilful, intelligent, hard working, gets a few goals. I reckon what counts against him in managers’ eyes is that maybe he lacks a bit of physicality required at that level.

I can only echo the above. I would have definitely kept him. George’s achievements this year will always be legendary which we will talk of with much joy for the rest of our lives. However, moving on - which George already has done by dry early on canning most of the squad in his disappointing retained list - he does seem to have issues with keeping good players such as Dom, Christie, Razzaq and his last summer star signing in Devonte and that is concerning. To cull the cup heroes like Sole and Reynolds so mercilessly - and those deemed by George to be good enough to get us to fourth place like Faal and Klass and Bone also dismissed so rapidly isn’t good. Of course if he compiles a mega squad of superstars over the summer who March undefeated to being NLS champions then George knows best! However I can’t help thinking that outside of Corne and Covolan the retained list seems more like a list of those who wouldn’t say boo to a goose and are quiet players - basically those who would never think to question or challenge the boss. If I were a good player being chased by the Stones this summer I would definitely question that lack of loyalty to players the management team have claimed to have personal relationships with. This merciless side to George the smiling tiger isn’t who loses patience so easily with his own choices of players is a little disconcerting even though his achievements this season are 100% legendary. Let’s see what the summer brings - hopefully every signing will be better than each of those dumped. They have to be otherwise what was the point? Thank goodness he rates Corne and Covolan!

But...FFS - most successful manager we've had in years, in his first ever season - what more do you want? A whole summer of this sort of shite is going to be unbearable.
