Talking to my hairdresser this afternoon and he'd been to see Tonbridge v Truro and described a game exactly the same as ours v Weston. Another wasted opportunity in terms of attracting new folk to non league football then. I don’t think the EFL or Premier League are immune. Results are the be all and end all and the quality of the “product” suffers as a result. I’m starting to think letting the big 6 f**k off to their super league wouldn’t be a bad thing. The game could then rebase itself at a more realistic level and bring in legislation to prevent super rich foreign owners buying into it again.

Itwas not an entertaining game and the tactic of getting to the half way line and then passing backwards until it reaches the keeper who then boots it to our small forward who is flanked by 2 giant defenders is not good. What we are missing is 2 good wingers who can be fed from midfield and run at the defenders and create that excitement. We do not have those wingers so George has to play the hand he has got. As proof of what we need, Reynolds lifted the side when he came on. So Reynolds was one of the two good wingers we don't have. Liam is another I think. It's a shame we don't have those two good wingers

I’m not sure what George did is ok. Yes we want to support the team but you have to be able to voice your opinions without that agreesive response. You what bruv? You want some?

Porkystone on that thread - still gets me when his name pops up on old threads. Really nice guy, much missed.

Did anyone ever check up on the bloke verbally abused? Saw him leave shortly after, and haven’t noticed him at the ground since. Maybe he wasn’t a “real” fan. Are we to only ever applaud, no matter happens on the pitch?

Are we to only ever applaud, no matter happens on the pitch? I wasn't there on Tuesday but as far as I'm concerned everyone inside that stadium was a REAL fan. The fans that George should turn his ire to are the 3000 that went to Ipswich and have never been seen since many of whom stopped REAL fans from purchasing tickets. For many reasons I've not been to many games in the last 2 seasons but this is my 52nd year associated with this club and in my opinion that makes me a REAL fan and those of you who know me know that if i think the team is shit I'll say so whether it be on this forum or face to face with the owners or manager because I've earned that right as has any of the 2138 on Tuesday night even though some of them are complete dickheads . I've backed George from the beginning even saying he must be made manager despite being caretaker during that massive losing streak but I think he has hammered the first nail in his proverbial coffin and the next home game could get quite nasty, though i hope not, because the George out brigade are still there and they could well turn up the volume. I personally think an apology should be issued from club and manager but I certainly will not hold my breath. In George we trust Hmmm!🤔

There would have been some who don’t make every game thus reducing the average. How many games do you need to attend to be allowed to go to a big awayday.
