Games running out, so each one ever more important, even so far as finishing high enough to get a home draw in the play offs , which is at least fifth, I think. Weston are comfortably mid table, so you'd hope won't cause too many problems. Its never like that though, with players no doubt angling for new contracts, even if some have already retired and not told anyone. Weston's away form is ok, better than at home in fact and they do score goals. Our form seems to be picking up, with key players returning from injury and even a clean sheet or two. Let's hope that continues on Saturday with a nice, comfortable win for a change.

I think you can get a home tie in the final of you finish 6th, and meet the team who finished 7th. But realistically 2nd and 3rd should be what were looking at. Especially with our run in.
Games like this weekend are a must win now.

My moneys on Woody.
It looks right and sounds right.
Greenie's guess feels like a shot in the dark.

Playoffs: Semis: 2nd v winner 5th v 6th 3rd v winner 4th v 7th Final held at the home ground of the finalist who finished higher in the regular league season. I based mine on last season. Either way, we need to win this one. They caused us all sorts of issues last time in a game we all assumed we would win at a canter. We have a (hates to say it) relatively gentle run in until Hampton at home last game. We could and perhaps should be seeing 5 or 6 wins form these next 7. I know it wont pan out like that but....

FWP's predicted final table has Braintree at 3rd with 81 points. So, if this is accurate, we need to get 82 by season's end.
Which means we need 18 points out of the remaining 8 games (24 points).
That's 6 wins and two defeats, or 5 wins and three draws:
WESTON SM win Eastbourne win WELLING draw Taunton win Farnborough draw WEYMOUTH win Truro win H&RB draw
On current form, only Farnborough away, and Welling and H&R at home pose a serious problem. So, a win against Welling or Farnborough and things start to look doable.
A big ask, but not impossible. I first worked this out just after the Dartford game, but Braintree drew a game they should have won (Weymouth at home) on Tuesday. So already we need 2 less points to get to third!

It shouldn't be a big ask though, a big ask is winning all 8. 6 wins should be a minimum requirement. 7 wins and a draw is my expectations

Which would see us finishing at 5th. Still good - but that would only give us guaranteed home advantage in the first game. And, given how this season's gone, I think home advantage could be even more important than normally.
