Dire first half, who cares!!!! Both sides obviously scared of losing.
All that mattered was the 3 points, nothing else.
Onwards and upwards.

How it ended up is totally down to Worgan. For once our midfield was over run, with loads of space for Torquay to run forward at will with the ball. That being said, its these kind of games where we grind out a win is what makes champions!! Top marks to the fans who made the long trip and for making so much noise all game long.

Bit of a nothing draw, though at least not too far away. Zero chance of it being a live TV game. Shame, but as has already been said, we may yet be one game away from Wembley.. Why zero chance?

I and the good lady were part of the 60. In brief, old school non league ground, (shit), friendly stewards. First half we were poor and Barrow played some nice football without ever threatening Lee. Second half was a lot brighter with Piggot winning a few more headers. Overall we just about deserved the win.
On a funny side, after our first half "goal" was ruled offside, the locals gave us lots of banter for us wrongly cheering the non goal. The stewards then bollocked the locals for taking the piss out of us! Lol Go figure! Lol
Another great away win. COYS

Never in a month of Sunday's was that a penalty. He simply threw himself to the floor and the spineless ref capitulated to the baying crowd.

The next six games could not quite be described as a breeze, it would be easy to look at them and our current form and see little but doom and gloom. But fear not - things aren't (quite) that bad. Taking the teams on the same points as us, or less (the bottom 9 sides) and extrapolating over the next 6 games based on current form (last 4 league games), this is the table going into the Guisley game on 7/1/17: 16 Southport 31 17 Torquay United 28 18 Solihull Moors 27 19 Maidstone United 27 20 Woking 23 21 Braintree Town 23 22 North Ferriby United 23 23 York City 19 24 Guiseley 18 But even if 5 points out of those games seems a bit Daveish, just 3 points still keeps us out of the bottom 4: 16 Southport 31 17 Torquay United 28 18 Solihull Moors 27 19 Maidstone United 24 20 Woking 23 21 Braintree Town 23 22 North Ferriby United 23 23 York City 19 24 Guiseley 18 Of course, no points at all out of the next 6 doesn't look quite so rosy: 16 Southport 31 17 Torquay United 28 18 Solihull Moors 27 19 Woking 23 20 Braintree Town 23 21 North Ferriby United 23 22 Maidstone United 22 23 York City 19 24 Guiseley 18 But, even then, there's only 1 point (and GD) between us and safety. And then the following 8 games include 6 of the other 8 sides in the current bottom 9 (plus Aldershot and Chester, both of whom aren't exactly setting the league alight at the moment). So, basically, no matter how bad things might seem at the moment, and, even if the next 6 games are as bad as we fear, we are still a long way from down. And even if the worst happens, our future is still very much in our own hands. Batten down the hatches and weather the storm - and then onwards and upwards! ZzzzzzzzzzzzzZ All that to say we have a very hard run . A Very dull and boring poster you are . I don't post to be popular .

Nobody has mentioned their goal yet?
At first I thought, great free kick.
Having watched the replay on TV it goes to Worgan's side of the goal. If you look, you'll see his weight go onto his right foot and lean to the right just as the kick is taken, thus he is beaten on keepers side of the wall.
Not a Worgan bash, he's almost a God!!!, just another thing that went against us.
