So after the excitement of the FA Cup it's back to league action at Torquay on Saturday. It's been easy to forget that we are very handily placed in the league and our away form is excellent so hoping this will continue against a struggling Torquay. I'm going for a 2-1 win to edge us closer to the top of the league.

Sad I cannot go but family time beckons.

All the indications are that this should be an easy 3 points in the bag.
So I'm expecting the worse...

Always a bit apprehensive after games that have been so enthralling. Conscience that it's all too easy to become complacent (aka Hartlepool) but I would like to think we have the squad to keep their eye on the prize.
I'll go with 1-1, Hines opening the scoring

Spurs were similarly afflicted after their win against Real Madrid, so let's hope we can also pull one out of the bag with a gritty 1 - 0 win.

We'll have to play differently without Delano, our other striking options aren't as 'robust'.
Going for a smaller away support than last year - but I'll be there to count the faithful - or, like me, the deluded.

It’s an extremely thin line between being faithful and deluded, see you there

How it ended up is totally down to Worgan. For once our midfield was over run, with loads of space for Torquay to run forward at will with the ball. That being said, its these kind of games where we grind out a win is what makes champions!! Top marks to the fans who made the long trip and for making so much noise all game long.

Worgan was immense today against a well organised Torquay team, the amount of possession they must have had during the game was unbelievable but thankfully we have Lee who made some quality saves to keep us in the game, special mention must go to Piggott for his goal, what a perfect free kick, roll on next week and let's see if we can have the same chant going for 20 minutes, the noise was immense and the support was a credit to the club, times like this make me realise just how much I love this club and enjoy our away days with the best supporters bar none.....COYS
