Great highlights as usual, penalty looked really soft, great goal by Loza.

Didn't look like a pen. At normal speed, it could look like Mills made slight contact with his arm, but in slow-motion it doesn't look like there was any contact and Miller looks like he's going down anyway.
But, in as much as you judge a game from 9 minutes of highlights, the two teams looked pretty evenly matched, so maybe a draw was a fair result.
With home support and a bit of luck, we could go two points better on Sunday.

Great effort by the lads yesterday, didn't appreciate how good their keeper was at the time, but he's saved them A couple of times with some very decent saves
Dover were in the play offs last year and may well be again this time around, they're a very decent outfit, but we more than matched them for the most part, as Jay says, if only we were showing greater consistency, but the way Yemi, Loza & Flish are working with Vas looks promising
We seemed to move it forward more quickly yesterday too, rather than passing across the back line and getting deeper and deeper, which to appeared to work well
Miller's cheated us and the ref's bought it, no surprises there, had Yemi gone down under a very similar challenge in the previous passage of play, he'd be our hero
Outstanding support, do we know the official figure for visiting fans?

Looked like Miller ran out of steam - never a penalty - confirms that the ref was another knob.

Outstanding support, do we know the official figure for visiting fans? At least 500 iirc ( as announced at Crabble ). ( 509 per away att thread - maybe porky should read all the threads before posting, grrrrrrrrrrr ). Dover forum is quite an interesting read on the game ( as well as being slow as s**t ): doverathletic.freeforums.org/maidstone-home-game-t5857.html

Quiz question: A man is walking down the high street and he randomly falls over. He is OK and picks himself up again before looking around. You see this. What should you do?

A dubious penalty at best.
What sort of budget would Dover have compared to ours?
Class goal by JL.

Never in a month of Sunday's was that a penalty. He simply threw himself to the floor and the spineless ref capitulated to the baying crowd.

When you see some of the tackles Mills has to commit to (always with the chance of a yellow at least) to save our bacon, it's madness that this 'stumble' by Miller should be rewarded by a pen, just because Mills was close to him.
Another ref would have penalised Miller for diving.
Which begs the question - why do we never get that ref?!

Pull a yellow card out of your pocket and book him for simulation. Never leave home without your cards, just in case

Did Dover have any significant shots on target? By that I mean ones Worgan had to do any real saves? No way a penalty. Miller pushed the ball too far forward and when he realised what he'd done, fell over. Another incompetent ref and this breed certainly outweigh the good ones in this league it seems. For things to even out over the whole season a better run of luck required! From highlights, whole team played well and our front men certainly gave their backs the run around. Jay now deserves a late Christmas present in terms of two high tempo performances on the bounce, followed by a third and then some more. Vaz certainly adds a fresh dimension, now he is fit, plus he can cross and is good with free kicks. With him, BJT, Yemi and Loza available up front, time for Flisher to drop into midfield, especially until the experienced new 'general' arrives. Always gives 100% and worth a try for nuisance value alone AND that would also free up time and space for Paxman to do the creative stuff. Good chance for the team to come back refreshed on Sunday, though same for Dover of course. Dagenham game definitely needs moving, but when did common sense ever prevail at times like this?

I would like to see Flish back in midfield too, he isn't really a striker, especially at this level and/or while he's still not back to his old form. But then, who do we put up front now LEM's gone? I'm not impressed with Greenhouse, and can Yemi be expected to do it all by himself? Although we played well at Dover, the draw and the 'soft' pen rather disguises the fact that we are still having trouble scoring. Loza's goal looked more like a pass that went awry and got lucky to me, rather than a clever lob. And without that we'd have lost. We've got to start converting our chances into goals - one good performance and 2 points lost to a suspect pen should not hide the fact that we still have that problem.
