After a magnificent win at Gatesheed is there anyone we should fear?
Macclesfield next. Still harbouring outside hopes of the play offs but have lost 3 out of their last 5. Another difficult away game. Who's gan and how will we fare?

I will be there as this is my 'local' Stones away game as I now live only 2 miles from Macclesfield's ground having moved back 'north' 16 months ago.
However I am still a Stand Season ticket holder at the Gallaher and a loyal Stones supporter for 35 years and attend as many home and away games as I can and will be at Wrexham on Good Friday with my 11 year old grandson and will be attending the Stones last game of the season against Tranmere with my daughter and son in law who are also Stand Season ticket holders

Meh. Two mid-table teams who aren't going to go up or down. Can't get excited by this one.

if I get let out early, I'm aiming to be there, and then back up North for Friday's game
Just remembered, last time we played at Wrexham (Dec 2014)Jay was under an FA ban and had to watch from the stand

I think you need to show your workings - where does the "high scoring" bit come from? PS - one extra point and we WILL be safe. It has already been conclusively established on here that 52 points is enough. Fact.

Yes will be there tomorrow, wonder how many will be able to make the mid week trip to Macclesfield, I think 100 would be a very respectable turnout.

It has already been conclusively established on here that 52 points is enough. Fact. I dropped my spreadsheet down the toilet, so here are my workings. All winning streaks come to an end and both teams score and concede goals. Plus I can feel it in my water. If 52 points are needed, one will not be enough. Faction.

It has already been established that the 21st place current max is 55 ptsThe Stones will be mathematically safe by 5pm on Good Friday if:[for 4 or 3 point scenarios all 3 criteria required to hold true] Combined points attained by Maidstone
| Stones @ Macc'd Stones @ Wrexham
| 6 | 4 | 3
| Combined max points attained from both matches by York & Woking; Braintree & Torquay
| York @ Solihull Woking v Macc'd
| n/a | 2 | 1
| Braintree v Guiseley Torquay @ Lincoln
| n/a | 3 or 4 if Torquay win
| 2
|
i.e. if Stones gain 3 points @ Wrexham, we will be mathematically safe if: York, Woking: {neither win} AND {at least one loses} AND Braintree, Torquay: {neither win}

Can you get odds on both sides scoring in a match at National League level? It's happened in 25 of our 40 matches, far cry from the binary scores of early last season.

There are result / both teams to score odds available. At the time of writing the best odds on show are : Macc : 13/5 Draw : 4/1 Stone : 13/2 Which combined make a %age of 61% (c. odds of 4/6) - IE if you bet 45 on Macc, 33 draw & 22 Stones - You get back c. 165 (including stake on the winning bet) if any of these three results come in. What's more striking to me though is that the best odds on a Stones win (regardless of score) is 15/4 - those are crazily long odds for what you'd think ought to be quite a close game.
