Getting back to alternative managers I always imagined that Stuart Lewis would of made the step up to management as a natural progression sadly it seems that it would not be with Maidstone, but sadly in todays cut an thrust of football clubs will not select a manager and give him a period of time to develop a squad now they all want instant success, personally I think it would be a mistake to sack JS an HH before the season ends, as for a replacement I,m not sure a two man package we have now is ever going to work, but I would like to see an ex player who,s retired to step into the club an rebuild it. I always though Lewis would be a perfect fit for us. If not Lewis, how about Worgan. Either one would get the fans back on side. It’s like a library in the ground this season. Atmosphere has been so poor. Give us all a laugh by bringing back Jason Lillis with Aaron Lacey as his no.2.

What ? Wait till April and then review. Madness, we must sack the management now, straightaway, without hesitation. Rather strangely, you are the only one actually suggesting this...

Such happy days🤣

Atmosphere has been so poor. That could be a good pairing but I think a lot of humble pie would have to be eaten by the owners if them two were to return. But what is more worrying is will the owners give any new manager a period of time to build a squad, more importantly will the fans give them time to build a team.?

As for time to build a team they may need it as don’t know how many of this squad will want to stay if we miss play offs and also not many of them seem very happy being here under the two managers who brought them here. Quite a few more games to go yet though so let’s see what happens. Still time for a miraculous turnaround!

Before anyone goes too far with Lewis, it should be remembered how he behaved last time he was here, after he left us for Dover...
