Agree with most of that, wish the club would take on board the points you make, except for the Jay bit. Spilt milk, however often you say it, is still milk. We need to look forward not backwards. I think we need to look forward to going backwards.

Speaking about the broader picture -
McClure's departure is a great loss - he scored goals & when he didn't he assisted those around him .i.e. Ibby to be better players. We don't have that clever player up front to replace him. It's the first season for Ibby at this level - his last 5 matches show a tired player. The game against Chippenham has had severe consequences - we lost 2 of our most consistent players this season in the first half and that exhausted our players for the Bath game - a team with nippy fast players in forward areas.
Yesterday we suffered as a result of Wishart being the left back ( in for Noah ) - He can't defend tricky people who run at him - I would like to see the build up to H&R winner as this time the right side of the defence made the same errors.
Boucard's injury & H&R's last minute winner shows you where we are in terms of our fortunes at this moment.
A very bad week for the Stones.

And Weymouth away next? Maybe we can bounce back and do a H&W. However, for that, there needs to be some creative thinking in training and not sure we have this.

Managers get sacked when they are unsuccessful. Fact, because they are the ones who decide which players to buy. They are the ones who pick the sides. They are the ones who choose the tactics and they are the ones who organise training so the team that is put out can put in a decent performance on match days. The latter is where things can and do go wrong from time to time. Southampton let in nine at home v Leicester, but are doing alright now. Bath let in six not long ago, but still seem a decent side. It is when managers and coaches do not learn from their mistakes, or keep on doing the same tactics, even though they don't work, that sides get into trouble. Others sides now know we a very one dimensional. Amaluzor and Kahn the only flair players, so it is fairly easy to mark them out of the game. Our side to side passing, then long ball forward must be the easiest tactic to defend against, especially when there is nobody with any great pace or height to cause problems, while our set pieces must be some of the most inept in the league. Who is responsible for all the above? Management and if they continue to run the side this way, our chances of going anywhere but downwards are nil. I agree and would add that our lack of change of tactics during games also highlights our managements shortfalls, they seem reluctant in games to change shape even when things aren't going well. In several games recently we have looked good first 10/15 mins but then the opposition have sussed us and we don't seem to have a plan B. Yesterday for me the obvious thing to try when we were trying to break them down (as I've already stated) would have been switching Amaluzor to the left and Watters to the right, even if it was just for 10 mins, to give the oppo something different to deal with. For the record, personally I'm not calling for their heads yet, there are a lot of things they've got right this season but they have also made mistakes. Let's see where we are in April.

A lot of things they have got right ? Not sure shams, rocky, wolves and bringback will agree. Far too reasonable !

What ? Wait till April and then review. Madness, we must sack the management now, straightaway, without hesitation.

Even Iggy stone has stopped coming to matches Joking aside, from a marketing point of view I think Iggy could be useful. My idea is we vote for the most negative poster on here and they are forced to walk round the town centre as Iggy drumming up new support for the stones.

Getting back to alternative managers I always imagined that Stuart Lewis would of made the step up to management as a natural progression sadly it seems that it would not be with Maidstone, but sadly in todays cut an thrust of football clubs will not select a manager and give him a period of time to develop a squad now they all want instant success, personally I think it would be a mistake to sack JS an HH before the season ends, as for a replacement I,m not sure a two man package we have now is ever going to work, but I would like to see an ex player who,s retired to step into the club an rebuild it.

I always though Lewis would be a perfect fit for us. If not Lewis, how about Worgan. Either one would get the fans back on side. It’s like a library in the ground this season. Atmosphere has been so poor.
