Are we all feeling confident and positive about this one?

Are we all feeling confident and positive about this one? Can't comment for the rest of the "we all" but I'm feeling confident and positive about this one as much as I was for all the games last season

We struggle to beat Bromley as it is, but a squad that’s been together a few weeks among other factors I’ll be happy frankly with a 3-2 defeat as long as we show willing. It can be done though, Billericay showed us up last pre season but that wasn’t hard to do

I am not going thru ill health but I cannot see a team in its early stages of melding together beating a proven well organized Bromley side. Would be impressed if they did .

It depends what side Bromley put out and what they want out of the game. If a half-decent side turns up on a mission, we're Wheelered. But if they bring a bunch of trialists and u-23s it will probably be 1-1 again.
I can't make the game, in fact I can't make ANY of the bloody (half-price!) pre-seasons - or any of the EIGHT games in August! My first Stones game is going to be Dulwich away...

And I was so slaughtered for doing exactly the same thing last season. Mine, of course, was almost entirely down to work not being unbothered. Like I said...when we drop down a bit the fervour will wear off

Some decent spirit in a 2-0 defeat, mostly in the first half, but I’m already concerned we do not have enough firepower. A bit of grit here and there but none of our strikers make me feel they are going to score many on the league. 3 games in, 2 scored and for friendlies, two against lower oppo that’s a very poor return, and with Embrey missing for probably August’s games it’s bad times indeed.
We need I think another 3-4 signings. If we are using our promoted academy prospects as squad filler we are in for a long season. Another striker or 2 plus another midfielder is a must.
It would also not be surprising to say all of our set piece play was atrocious

Bromley have a load of triallists. They had a very strong side out actually. I don’t recall many trialists coming on for them but did spot one George Mclennon!

Bromley have a strong side, I think was a better performance against much tougher opponents, defence looks pretty good, we don't seem to have someone who looks like they are going to score double figures up top, I know it's early days yet.

An encouraging performance especially in the first half. The defence looked solid. Impressed by Corne who looks better than any midfield player we had last season whereas Kamdjo seemed off the pace. As commented above we look short in centre midfield. Kyei & Amaluzor impressed but we don't seem to have a central striker who can win the ball in the air. Overall very promising. And I really like the new shirt!

John and Hal don't seem to be fans of a big lump up front and theres been no talk of signing one - but they also didn't rule out LBDTM on dodgy away pitches, so I cant quite work that one out!
