So. first home game for a month approaching, Orient sitting just above the relegation zone having lost their last 3 away games and our own home form very patchy. All-ticket game, Orient haven't sold out the away allocation and plenty left for the home supporters, in hindsight perhaps a miscalculation by the club but hopefully a gate near the 3000 mark. Going 2-1 home win.

2513 ... or 3001 ... when I get my ticket on Friday ... The result ? ... A win by any scores would be a nice Christmas present , but we must be cautious as Leyton Orient have a very good and experienced new manager and so far they have rediscovered the way to winning.

forecasts on the forum this season have been wide of the mark too often prediction for homes wins in particular have been OTT so I'm going for a 1-2 defeat (hoping to be proven wrong) and an attendance around 2,850

Because it's the last shopping day before Christmas! So all the shops will be closed on Christmas Eve?

Despite their position I can see us losing this. Home form awful, in fact in general. Last 4 league games, 1 goal scored and 9 conceded.
I think we will need a bit of a freshen up in Jan, which should see our form hopefully improve.
Still, this time last year we lost 2-0 to North a ferriby and it can't ever be as bad as that...

It doesn't seem to matter what players are involved what league or cup we're in we've never shirked a challenge like that. I'm off to trawl the streets for some suitable sacrifice to try and remove the curse you've created.

Only a few years, although I'm sure the Borehamwood Game a few weeks ago was probably a worse overall spectacle. I hope I haven't jinxed it...

Impossible to call any games these days. Shipped 4 goals in three out of four games, only scoring once , then went away to a place we all thought we would be lucky to get a draw and won 4-0! What sort of form is that???*
I'd like to think our traditional mid-season blip has finished early this year and the Torquay result will restore our confidence and we'll sort Orient out. But, one Torquay does not a Wynter make, so I also fear that they'll turn out to be better than we expect, and they'll take advantage of our narrow pitch to shut up shop and kill us on the break.
*LLLDW before pedant or Ant chip in!

Talking of form - Orient haven't won away for EIGHT games!
LO away - LDLDDLLL - 8 0 3 5 - 3 points from possible 24
Stones home - DWDLDWDL - 8 2 4 2 - 10 from 24
But how often do Stones games go according to form? (rhetorical!)

Remember Orient have a new & highly regarded manager ( Justin Edinburgh ) and thumped Sutton 4 1 last weekend. We'll be lucky to secure a point IMHO.
