Because it's the last shopping day before Christmas! So all the shops will be closed on Christmas Eve? It's a Sunday, so they should be!

So all the shops will be closed on Christmas Eve? It's a Sunday, so they should be! Are you saying this because you are highly religious, HS?

Where is the best for parking just before Christmas?
Maidstone East railway station always seems to have plenty of spaces on a Saturday.

Shame this won't be a sell-out. Sure it would have been if not all ticket as people get fed up with christmas shopping and pop to the Gallagher... still wondering why this game was made all ticket?. Anyone know?

Anyone know? Only thing I can think of would be to stop hoards of Orient fans arriving on the day, and being present with the home fans. They usually take a good number and I wouldn't want to be outnumbered never mind out sung at my own ground.

They didn't take that many to their local derby against Haringey. I suspect Christmas shopping and poor league form would have deterred many Orient fans from travelling. I assume it is a police decision to have so many all-ticket matches in such a short period. Don't think Orient are known for hooliganism, except when being relegated from the Football League.

So, apart from the last minute winner v Chester, the Gallagher has now seen bugger all in the league since Woking on 9th September, though there was the 2-2 against Gateshead, I suppose. Orient nothing special, but they pressed us back and hard though Lewis and Reason worked in midfield, they were just pushed deeper and deeper as the game wore on. Am sure Jay will bemoan two poor goals, but fact is we are creatively bereft in midfield, with Pigott feeding off scraps up front. Two half shouts for penalties apart, not sure we ever threatened, the odd occasion we did, their 12th player (aka the referee) ensured we never got close. A creative midfielder definitely now needed in the new year, or we are sliding down the table rapidly. Some more movement up front would be nice too, plus Lee Worgan improving both the length and direction of his distribution, both of which were poor today. Thank gawd for our away form.

But remember we are back home in a fantastic ground, how far we have we came blah blah bollocks yes I’m pissed off and yes it’s ok to be pissed off and still love the club, before all the apologists jump on my post and say the same old shite, we were poor against a very average team, however I will be at Aldershot next week and the rest of the games during January Home and away.

Jesus Christ. Just think how far we have come in the last ten years and at least we are home again.

We had 850 or so at Haringey. Not sure what on Earth that last comment is about.

Today was not very good, they had 2 shots and scored, we’ve got to tget a creative midfielder in because we have nothing, I understand budgets and good players cost more, but we have nothing, we struggle at home because of the smaller pitch, in relatity, mid table would be good,, always support the stones though ⚽️

Just maybe a new manager, a new keeper, and a left back, Is it time to actually think about moving Saunders on? He just doesn't cut it - tactically woeful! I think we could definitely be sucked into the relegation battle, if we don't change something!

Cannot, will not agree with a change of manager in these circumstances. We aren't in that bad a position and who wants a replacement from the managerial merry-go-round? Jay freshened us up last season and will no doubt do it again.
