I'm not against the idea but the execution isn't great, I hope they didn't pay anyone to create that.

Definitely preferred the Coat of Arms. This one might be a bit too simple.. The more I look at it the worse it gets

It's not that bad. I was hoping the dinosaur would remain but alas.

One lion on our shirt, The Ryman trophy's gleaming.
It will divide opinion but I like it. Makes a change from using the towns coat of arms like every other bugger does.

Couldn't care less one way or the other.
Only surprised I found the energy to express that opinion on something so unimportant.
Now if they were changing the shirt colour...

School badge or scout badge take your pick. Nothing wrong with the old one .

Old badge is better by far. I presume that the club have paid some "creative group" to produce this badge? Could the club have not utilised the creative minds of some supporters to create a new logo..... Much cheaper.

Definitely retro in that when I first saw the badge it reminded me of 'Charles Buchan's football monthly'! (Those over 60 may remember)
BLAZING SADDLES: Badges? We don't need no stinking badges!

I don't like it and I think the club missed a trick here by not involving supporters. Bit odd given the strong ethos of community spirit permeating the club at every other level.

Agree with the club missing a trick by not involving supporters. Just look at the Everton badge situation at the beginning of this season. They went to a very simplified design and the fans hated it, boycotted buying shirts and the club eventually put it to a vote and offered alternatives.
Also, take the new West Ham badge for the Olympic Stadium move. Similar idea to go to a simplified design, but at least they put out a questionnaire to fans asking what people wanted to see on the badge, before offering a couple of alternatives that were put to a vote.
My main objection to the new badge (apart from the flat design, dull typeface, retro balls and lack of Iggy) is the lack of 'Maidstone' anywhere on it. Just Google MUFC and see what comes up....
