Yes can understand going for a simpler design but agree would like to see Maidstone United on there as well as the dinosaur in place of the lion. Would have been nice to be presented with a couple of options for the supporters to vote on, definitely missed a trick there.

This badge is a mockery, to the club, the town. the fans and our history. Immediate vote to change it back should be held! WTF is that?...

It takes time to get used to a new design. People are very conservative when it comes to football stuff but I quite like it. Simple, clean and modern. The old one was too 'busy'. We will all get used to it. Re involving supporters, well that might have worked but you'd never please everyone.

Think it'll look fine on the shirt. It will stand out more than the traditional design but still retains the essence of the original. And anyone who suggests replacing the lion with the dinosaur clearly doesn't understand the heraldic concept of the original.

It's not that it looks dire - it's just ... how much did it cost for half an hour's work?

The club will still retain the original badge, this new badge will be used on the playing kit, it's a similiar move to when the club stopped using the original coat of arms on the training kit and replaced it with MUFC

The club will still retain the original badge Of course they will, that way they can still sell the old stock without need for a flash sale.
