Anyone know what pre-game food and drink options there are at the stadium? (I assume the coach is taking us to the stadium itself.)
Just looking at the map, the stadium appears to be in some god-awful retail/industrial park thingy, miles from the city centre.
And, yes, I know that the Coventry City site probably has this sort of information...

Surrounding pubs look terrible. Assuming you arrive early enough, might be worth a train or taxi to somewhere else.

Well, with the coach leaving at 12:30, we've got about 4 bloody hours to kill!
There's a Nando's nearby according to Googles maps - great news for us veggies!

The Chequers at Tonbridge is open all day and it's only 5 yards from seat to big screen and 8 yards to the toilet no food though☹

Been there several times with Blackpool and, as a ground, you'd have been better with Sheffield. If in the city, you will need a cab to the ground, forget the train connections, they don't operate. The ground is near a shopping centre so namdos is it. As for pubs, check out the Longford Engine but it's quite a hike. We drank in The Novotel but not sure they would welcome a few hundred Stoned. Good luck, may well pop into The Gallagher to watch.

My nephew normally just drinks in the city centre and gets the bus to the stadium.
Thats what I will be doing.

I’m going to visit St Bernadette’s, the rough Coventry school that puts on amazing Christmas plays in competition with the local posh private school. Hope Mr Poppy is there. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nativity!

Last night Ipswich won 4-0 at Millwall, and Coventry only drew 2-2 at Plymouth.
So by that logic…

[need to read this in Marcus Bentley's Geordie accent] "Day 164 in the FA Cup" That was the duration of Blyth Spartans 1977/78 cup run: 17/9/77 - 27/2/78 &, 16/9/23 - 26/2/24, that will also be the on-going extent of our cup campaign when we step onto the field at Coventry

Why are the coaches going at different times?
