[need to read this in Marcus Bentley's Geordie accent] "Day 164 in the FA Cup" That was the duration of Blyth Spartans 1977/78 cup run: 17/9/77 - 27/2/78 &, 16/9/23 - 26/2/24, that will also be the on-going extent of our cup campaign when we step onto the field at Coventry I think Blyth earned a replay - can't see us doing that... Especially as there are no replays.

Want to swap coach seats? Mine goes at 1.30 and was hoping to take in the cathedrals. Kind offer, thanks, but I've got a sightly bigger problem on my hands as I didn't realise today was the last chance for ST holders!!! Why are the coaches going at different times? Mine is the club’s overflow coach. I stupidly waited until i had the ticket in my grubby hands before booking. Did you get a ticket?

I did! Two in fact - and the ST discount. And there was no queue!
An excellent result - after a night of stress...

I had assumed (hoped) that the NL would let us postpone Weymouth, but presumably if it's still scheduled as late as this, it's going ahead?
Anyone know anything about this or how these things work? It seems a tad odd that we are expected to play a League game just 2 days before the biggest FA Cup game in our history.

In the past, we've played on a Saturday and then Monday, so they will just use that as an excuse.

It's simple really on Saturday we play the U23's and hope to draw or win. We may be fined by the league for doing so but compared to the £250,000 benefit who cares. The only people who truly suffer are the 2000+ regular fans ,the other 2500 probably do not even know we have a game.

Unfortunately, we need every point we can get until April to secure our place in the play-offs. Much as I enjoy the odd once-in-a-lifetime, amazing, historic, cup run, the league is actually what matters. Unless be beat Coventry, of course...

One game and 3 pts mean nothing to us, if we cannot make the playoffs by throwing one game then we do not deserve to be there in the first place

Can’t believe they are making us play two days before the most important game in our history™.
But then, these are the people who gave our covid money to Boreham Wood and Dover.
We should treat this as a warm up game, with key players rested and maximum substitutions.

ST discount on a non ST day………… On another thread he expects loads of us to buy season tickets when we can't come to loads of games (through work etc) and states this shows our 'loyalty'. He then displays his 'loyalty' by taking a £2 discount. Breathtaking double standards from someone who didn't turn up for 20 years because, "it wasn't the same team any more". The, "same team" he now professes utmost loyalty to. You going to Coventry Shammy?

Whilst in any other setting, you’d be getting support and cooperation from your governing body, especially when those same National League blazers will be basking in reflected glory as one of ‘theira’ gets to the last 16, these are the same despicable characters that Oliver shone a light on over the way they divided the Covid money, and they’re now taking the chance to pay us back The game’s being fully covered on tv, it would be nice if one of the pundits give this fact a bit of air-time, especially with Coventry playing Friday night

We have players who are cup-tied, others returning from injury & others needing game time. So how about...
Covolan or Earle
Hoyte Appiah Ezzenolim
Court Gurung Iandolo Hatton Kyprianou
Rush Faal
Hardly a weakened team.
