On another thread he expects loads of us to buy season tickets when we can't come to loads of games (through work etc) and states this shows our 'loyalty'. He then displays his 'loyalty' by taking a £2 discount. Breathtaking double standards from someone who didn't turn up for 20 years because, "it wasn't the same team any more". The, "same team" he now professes utmost loyalty to. You going to Coventry Shammy? I certainly am. With the trouble and strife God old hbs, he never changes! Constantly scratching itches from years ago, always having a dig... I am not loyal because I was given a discount (which I didn't ask for)? Grow up, you arse.

I had assumed (hoped) that the NL would let us postpone Weymouth, but presumably if it's still scheduled as late as this, it's going ahead? Anyone know anything about this or how these things work? It seems a tad odd that we are expected to play a League game just 2 days before the biggest FA Cup game in our history. I never expected it to be changed, Weymouth was never going to agree to it. In the past, we've played on a Saturday and then Monday, so they will just use that as an excuse. Weymouth have agreed to it

Can’t believe they are making us play two days before the most important game in our history™. But then, these are the people who gave our covid money to Boreham Wood and Dover. We should treat this as a warm up game, with key players rested and maximum substitutions. Well exactly. Whilst in any other setting, you’d be getting support and cooperation from your governing body, especially when those same National League blazers will be basking in reflected glory as one of ‘theira’ gets to the last 16, these are the same despicable characters that Oliver shone a light on over the way they divided the Covid money, and they’re now taking the chance to pay us back The game’s being fully covered on tv, it would be nice if one of the pundits give this fact a bit of air-time, especially with Coventry playing Friday night I take it all back, what a splendid bunch of chaps they 🤪

Weymouth have agreed to it Bloody surprised by that With how long this has taken to be agreed, I was sure it wasn't going to happen

Well, with the coach leaving at 12:30, we've got about 4 bloody hours to kill! There's a Nando's nearby according to Googles maps - great news for us veggies! Happy to cancel your seats if you’re that unhappy? Dartford Tunnel M25 M1 M6! I’d rather be there than sitting in traffic after a fatality wondering if we’d get there! Clearly you know better than me!

My apologies, Tim. It wasn't so much the coaches I was wingeing about - I appreciate why the coaches are scheduled the way they are - it was Coventry's stadium's crap location! I was just being a grumpy old git. I've often said on here how much we should appreciate all your hard work re the coaches. People seem to take for granted things like this - and Stones Live, STV, etc - without stopping to think what it would be like without them.

Not sure about this group taunting of a frail elderly man because he didn’t attend home matches in another town 20 years ago.
It doesn’t reflect well on Maidstone United or the small group of people who were there and are now demanding the club make special provision for them.
He said sorry for inadvertently offending Tim. Maybe time to move on?

It doesn’t reflect well on Maidstone United or the small group of people who were there and are now demanding the club make special provision for them. He said sorry for inadvertently offending Tim. Maybe time to move on? Just reflect on what our frail old man wrote about supporters - many of whom did turn up in those 20 years. "But it also has to be pointed out that a solution to most of the problems would be for supporters to buy season tickets. If you can't be bothered to show your loyalty to the club by having a ST, you can't really complain if you can't get a ticket to games like this." We are sorry we don't get ST. I've only been to 5 home league games this season because I work every other Saturday and have my kids on Monday and Tuesday nights. Sword has mobility issues and has to get from Tonbridge, yet JDL is happy popping at him as well. Others such as Rob etc are good loyal fans who have stuck with us through the years not just when a certain standard of football was plonked on their doorstep. Oh and he makes Hungary with regularity but couldn't find Sittingbourne and Ashford.
