Just got our tickets for the Ipswich game. Everything as per the announcement - up to 2 tickets per ST, seat, row, block numbers as they come.
I noticed that ST holders will be allowed one visit only - I can’t buy one ticket today and another tomorrow. I realise that’s not going to inconvenience many people but just in case anyone was thinking that might be an option, I thought it was worth saying.

Was there much of a queue. I’m going this evening. No queue just a constant in and out of supporters. Barry Fenn said it had been very busy and that was around 10.30. There were 3 or 4 tables selling tickets and pot luck what section, row and seat number. Barry was selling block V2 row E at the time and Helen row N

I was there when it opened and was a bit surprised to end up with a Row so far back! The view still looks good though on this site. Still… could be worse.

A question from a non forum member. Does anyone know if provisions have been made for disabled fans wishing to attend the game. Like myself tge gentleman in question would find it very hard to climb to the upper reaches of the Cobbold stand. I told him to ring the club but he informs me the line is always busy,or of the hook, and so any info would be appreciated that I can pass on.

You can see how many tickets have been sold to Ipswich fans here. tickets.itfc.co.uk/en-GB/events/ipswich%20town%20v%20maidstone%20united/2024-1-27_12.30/portman%20road?hallmapYou would have to guess how many we have sold by the fact we started selling block V2 and are working our way across the stand. So whatever section we are selling now will indicate how sales are going. With 700 season tickets holders able to buy 1400 tickets, the real action will come when the remaining 3000 go on general sale. Every day at work, new people tell me they are going, and plan to queue up early. Assuming each quarter of the stand holds around 1000, I would expect us to be half way through V1 by the time of general sale. Can you tell I work with data?

For those of you have their finger on this pulse are lower tier tickets still available for the cattle queue tomorrow? What is the Lower tier called and is that where Marshy and the more vocal supporters will be? I envisage the Manchett and season ticket holders to be top tier and the Genco rabble bottom tier but it’s very difficult to work out!

I envisage the Manchett and season ticket holders to be top tier and the Genco rabble bottom tier but it’s very difficult to work out! Tickets sold in order of sections. V2 first then V1 then ….. S is on the lower tier and caters for assistance. So to be with Marshy or not to be is completely pot luck as to when you or he buys tickets. At the end of the day wherever and whoever you sit with it is mandatory for every stones fan to sing their hearts out for 90+ minutes.
