I don't know. I could ask him. Getting it wouldn’t be a problem. Getting it to you might be more challenging. If you can get me a ticket, I will collect it no bother. I've asked a few people so could end up with more than one but go for it. I will deffo pay the tenner.

A few years ago we had a £5 a season membership that gave priority for this exact situation. But as it doesn’t happen too often I’m guessing it was dropped? Giving out vouchers at recent sparsely attended evening matches could have rewarded those who cannot attend at weekends. But ultimately, it’s always been season ticket holders first. Maybe consider a partial season ticket allowing you to pick and choose games? We are a small club without a big back office. They’re already coping with a massive volume of phone calls and emails, without running special schemes for a once in ten years occasion. I'm sorry Bernie but I have to disagree with things. If we had been drawn at home then by all means give season ticket holders first choice but to do this for an away game when 80% of season ticket holders haven't travelled past Allington is all wrong. There has been no thought for the 25-30% of fans who do not live in the County Town and in many cases nowhere near it. These supporters have once again been shit on by the club who will soon be moaning after Ipswich stuff us that attendances are disappointing. As for the fact that we only have a small backroom staff then I say we are going to earn nearly £200,000 ,employ some agency f**king workers for a fortnight they could deal with telephone and postal sales,it's not rocket science. I just feel sorry for the fans that travel miles to watch a game week in and week out who are thought of as non entities by a club with no idea how to treat supporters and you wonder why I haven't seen a home game this year

If a supporter is willing to travel for 90 mins or more to see the match I cannot see why it should be a problem to get to the ground to buy a ticket especially if you are a supporter that goes to some away games. If we do not sell our allocation perhaps then the club could either allow sales on line or post the tickets for a fee. Anyone who wants to go to Ipswich will make the effort to attend in person or arrange for someone to collect their ticket.

This "ST holders don't go away" nonsense is a myth. Admittedly, most of them probably don't, but then most non-ST holders don't go to aways either. What does that prove?
I don't go to many aways, but when I do, I see fans I know to be ST holders. In fact I'd even go as far as to suggest, as the motivation for buying a ST and going to away games (for most of us) is to support the club, I would expect many regular away fans to also be ST holders.
Fans get STs for two main reasons: for many of us, it's the only way of getting a seat, but for those who prefer to stand, it's simply a way of supporting the club.
I'd guess that very few have a ST for the discount (personally, as I miss all of August most years, having a ST actually costs me more), and ditto for the chance to get a ticket for games like Ipswich. These simply don't happen often enough to make it worth while. And now we have 4,000+ capacity, and, I'd guess, only about 1,500 ST holders, it's going to be a very rare game you can't get into without a ST!
It's not easy for all of us to find that 350ish quid each season - much less hassle (and cheaper) to just pay for the games you actually go to. But it helps the club a lot to have all that money up front each season, so we do it. If we get the occasional small benefit from this, why shouldn't we. It's not hurting anyone, after all.

I hear what you are saying, my point is there would be no need to do so with a little bit if effort from the club.

In a time of 'cost of living' issues and a need to not be using fossil fuels this seems a strange post. I would also point you towards the mobility issue for some as well. Be thankful I don't live in Carlisle or Rugby now, or I'd be properly hounding you.

From Stones News this am
We collected the tickets from Ipswich Town last night and can confirm the Wednesday sales times will go ahead as planned.
For those season tickets holders who are coming down during the next three days, please be aware that there is a set order in which blocks of seats must be sold. Only when a block is sold out, can we move to the next one.
Please note that each ticket will have a designated seat number that must be used on the day. Tickets will be sold in row and number order.
As you will all have seen from social media and various forums, demand for tickets is very high. To be fair to as many as possible, adult and concession season ticket holders can purchase one additional ticket during this priority period.
One person can bring down multiple season tickets to purchase the full entitlement available to those tickets.
Ticket limits for the general sale will be decided on Friday afternoon, once the sales for the priority period is over.
We are very mindful that there is no perfect solution to these ticket sales but in securing the maximum possible allocation, we hope as many as possible will be able to enjoy this historic occasion in person.

To NWS, reading that it looks like I will be able to get you a ticket. Anyone wanting more than one extra is gonna be out of luck.

Just trying to picture the queue at the ground on Saturday. Shame we don’t have a home game. Could have been a record crowd for a league game.
