Not a time to be a club called Corinthian as Corinthian Casuals are bottom of the Isthmian Premier and Corinthian are bottom of the Isthmian SE division. Maybe we should be called Maidstone Corinthians

Proof positive that success brings in the crowds. Raynes Park Vale fc of the Combined counties Premier South division usually struggle to attract 200 but 1070 fans witnessed them go 8 points clear at the top yesterday with a 3-1 win over Fleet Town

Erith and Belvedere fc who were 22 pts clear at the top of the South East Counties League and inexplicably sacked their manager appointing his assistant as new manager and now they are only 11 pts clear with neighbours Erith Town having 2 games in hand and so they have sacked him as well. Top of the league all season has cost 2 managers their jobs ,the chairman must be a prized pillock.

Chatham Town may well have blown their chances of automatic promotion after losing 1-0 away to Whitehawk who have jumped above them into 2nd place. With 7 games remaining and Ramsgate 4 points clear the south coast club are favourites to land the title and promotion to the Isthmian Premier.

Almost literally - they always seemed rather robust if I remember rightly.

Almost literally - they always seemed rather robust if I remember rightly. They certainly took no prisoners when ever we played them, it was always a good away game though with a day in Brighton before and after the game.

Hashtag United based in Pitsea Essex, look set for promotion from the Isthmian League North, to within one promotion/relegation of being in the same league as Maidstone.

I shall be watching them play at Stowmarket next weekend (visiting a mate). The home side are still in contention for a play off spot I saw the same fixture in Nov 21, Hashtag had ex Stone Hughes-Mason playing for them at the time, thinks he’s dropped a level now

Worksop town of Northern Premier East division be came the first team to achieve promotion this season having lost only one game and that was the first game of the season. Yaxley Town of the Northern Premier league Midlands division beat the Stones to be the first team relegated having won just one game and securing just 5 points all season.

Good news for 2 old foes of Maidstone. Firstly North Ferriby who have had a torturous few seasons are back at step 4 after winning the North East Counties league, whilst long forgotten club Trowbridge Town are set to rejoin the pyramid system at step 6.

Pretty sure they'll have to change their name if the progress much higher. I'm sure there are rules meaning the club name must reflect where they are based.
