Well I thought I'd start a thread for the rest of the clubs up and down the country.A general thread for interesting news, bad news, sad news or joyous news from the game we all love. Please feel free to post anything of interest especially as it gives me something to read in the small hours when you are all asleep and i am wide awake, the insomniac zombie that I am. I'll start the ball rolling with old foes Erith and Belvedere fc. I remember when they were relegated to the Kent league some years ago the club proudly announced that they would walk this tin pot league and go straight back up again, about 12 years down the line they look like finally keeping their word and currently stand 17 pts clear at the top of the SE Counties league. This would be enough for most chairmen but repeated arguments has left the manager with no option but to say stuff you mate,I'm off.Time will tell whether the 17 pt gap will now be eroded before the end of the season and the chairman looks like a bigger c@#$ than Mike Ashley. The race for promotion to SECLPrem looks to be developing into a battle between Larkfield & New Hythe and our old foes the Snoddies. These two clubs have come a long way in the last few seasons and both now have nice ,tidy little grounds that may already have Isthmian grading. The Snoddies in the Isthmian league in a few years, shuddering thought. On the down side Sunderland RCA of the Northern league, currently mid table, have informed the league that they will withdraw at the end of the season and seek a place at a lower level. They cannot afford to carry on in the Northern league and are doing this to keep the club alive 😪

Hastings Town fc are being forced into groundsharing at Eastbourne Borough next season after E Sussex County council reneged on a deal to sell them some land to build their new stadium. The pilot field where they currently play is literally falling apart and the lease is up next year. Is this the beginning of the end for this famous cub?

Has the Guernsey fc bubble burst? After several seasons of sweeping away all that have stood before them the Islanders seem to have hit a brick wall. Home attendances are down 40% the cost of flying teams to the Island gave doubled and results are not good losing 8-0 at Basingstoke ,leaving them 2nd bottom of the Isthmian league South Central. Has the money run out or is it just too big a step up for a club so far away?

Remember Histon FC who finished 3rd in the Conference in 2008/09? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Histon_F.C. Currently playing in the United Counties League Premier Division South. Didn’t go out of business. Just kept getting relegated.

Might make a worthwhile day out were Le Shuttle cheaper. Nice meal and a bootload of cheap wine, plus a game of footy.

Nimbyism found in Kent's more leafy areas well you would never thought it.
It's found when new owners move into a house next to a cricket ground that has been there for decades.
What do they expect - the ground to move?

The lights problem may be a result of the fact that Herne Bay now has a nice 4g pitch, so the pitch is in constant use. I have sympathy if local residents are experiencing drunken nuisance issues, as a result of longer licensing hours. I can't say I've particularly noticed but then again, I'm not there at 11pm.

Only in non league football can a ref turn up 45 minutes before kick off, pronounce the pitch playable only to be told that both teams have said f**k this and not turned up to play. The ref then postponed it for a frozen pitch. Well done Barnton and Bacup Borough players.🤣🤣🤣

Nick Davis has thrown the towel in and walked away from the managers job at Sittingbourne. Walked away or pushed?
