Newcastle United defender Jamaal Lascelles has been booked twice in games where he has not partaken in play, i.e. In both games he was an unused substitute but this did not prevent him from picking up yellow cards for getting involved in the action.
V Chelsea he got involved in an altercation around the 98 minute from the touchline where he was warming up V Arsenal he blocked the Arsenal player taking the throw, arguing that the Arsenal player should have been 20 yards further down the touchline where the ball went out of play
Top level shithousery IMO

Devastating news for me personally as long term friend and club secretary of Whitley Bay fc Dereak Breakwell has passed away suddenly. Derek was the one of the first people I met at Whitley and both him and his wife Jennifer have been firm friends for 40 years.RIP Derek😪

Jersey fc have pulled out of the combined counties league Cup as they cannot afford to fly their opponents to the island to play it. They have a set travelling budget which they are already likely to exceed with league games. With Guernsey looking like they could be relegated back yo the CCL things are looking not to good for the Channel Island clubs

Anyone not travelling to Eastleigh on Saturday 11th but still need a footy fix then the huge Derby between Larkfield/New Hythe and Snodland takes place at Larkfield. This is 2nd v 1st in the SECL1 which is developing into a 2 horse race for the title with both teams locked on 41pts

Radcliffe Borough of the NPL have released David Goodwillie after one game. The supporters of the club were not willing to accept a convicted rapist playing for their club under any circumstances. The chairman admits they got it wrong.

A massive SECL1 crowd of 510 witnessed the top 2 play out a goalless draw which means they are still locked together at the top with Snoddies having the better goal difference.

Fans of Southern league side Hednesford town have been calling for the head of the chairman and he has listened saying he will quit at the end of the season. He has put the club up for sale as well as the ground and has arranged a groundshare for next season if as expected the ground is bought by property developers and torn down. The supporters are now worried they'll have no football club next season.A lesson for our vocal supporters who want T&O out,be careful you may just get your wish.

North Shields fc could be demoted despite being out of the relegation zone as they have failed to complete the £50,000 ground upgrades needed for step 4.They have 7 weeks to find the money or it's back to the Northern League. I still do not understand why clubs at this level have to have a capacity 10 times more than their average gate😪
