I would like to see us stay in this league for a couple of seasons, end up near the play offs and when we're ready financially, go up to the NL. However it doesn't work like that so just enjoying hopefully a better season and what will be, will be. It would be nice not to be a yo-yo club because doing that the team won't ever be settled, even just to keep a majority of players at the end of a season would be refreshing, but then there will always be players that want to move on. Oh well, I'll just enjoy and if stressed, I can drink cider, now THAT is a bonus of this league!! 😄 Better to be a yo-yo club than one who does nothing. At least some seasons we’ll win something |

I hate to have to agree with your mate daveu, but I think he's right.
Only downside is that playing in the National League is not nearly so fun.

It's only opinions, not about being right or wrong. I just prefer stability than the yoyo stuff, but I accept others will feel different....

Much rather see us bouncing up and down, that sitting in the National South year after year. Going up a division will make us more attractive to a new investor, so ideally we get promoted this season and a new investor comes in in June 2024. Then we stabilise in the National League

Woking have not yet announced they have signed Sandford. So what should George do if he still wants to sign Sandford, remain patient or sign an alternative? Jaaskelainen seems to be Woking's first choice keeper and favoured by those on their forum. So if Sandford were to sign for them he would probably not play regularly. Which would be better for Sandford, a backup keepr in NL or first choice in NLS? I had feared that his shoulder injury might have ended his career. I have now seen that he has signed a short term contract with AFC Wimbledon to cover the international call ups of their #1, Tzanev from New Zealand. So he will be their #3 for a short time at least. |

One of the advantages of being full time is that we can sign players we've never heard of from a shithole Essex club,a player that has played for several other shithole Essex clubs and Tonbridge one of the biggest shitholes of all. Our record of signing players from the demon county is not great but maybe Mr Rush could be the exception 🤞🤞🤞 |

He got 4 assists in Aveley’s recent 4-1 win at Havant.

In fairness to swordy, he did say that Matt could be an exception to the usual dross.
