Fair point daveu, we respect the thinking of Dover supporters. No doubt that Kinnear's team finished with a really bad run of matches and he got sacked. But in fairness you need to look at what he achieved over the years at Dover. How do you reckon Haks record as a manager compares ? As a guide you may like to think what these clubs had in common.
Tranmere Rovers, Leyton Orient, Halifax Town, Hartlepool, Macclesfield, Woking, Gateshead, , Dagenham, Guisley, Boreham Wood, Eastleigh, Solihull Moors, Aldershot, Chester, Torquay.
Chris Kinnear's team turned them over in his last full season at Dover.

It's quite funny really,a few months back when I suggested that Hak should resign or be sacked I was shot to pieces by virtually all of you who were dancing around and shouting "IN HAK WE TRUST". Here we are a few months later when stability is required in these unprecedented times and I want Hak to stay and you lot want shot of him for either the return of the messiah or an out of work geriatric whose game plan is to have more hoofs than the entire grand national field. Very strange indeed.

Very strange indeed. Not sure people want Hak gone, I think the question is being asked about why he has not officially been announced as our manager when things return? Of course we do not know when, but does Hak want to stay and do the Board want him to? What the fans think tends not to matter when it comes to hiring and firing managers as we know.

nonleaguedaily.com/ebbsfleet-to-release-seven/Ebbsfleet release 7. Certainly going to be a lot of free agents knocking around soon who won’t be picking up what they normally would be used to if and when the 20/21 season begins. Wouldn’t be surprised if quite a few clubs in the NL revert to part time. It’s a shame it’s taken this crisis to bring probably some parity in wages or at least a reality check but I imagine when the season kicks off again it certainly will be more of an even playing field.

Too true as the wealthy owners who have chucked spare cash at football clubs, won't have so much spare cash next season. Unfortunately with Stones attendances down some 600 per match from our peak, it means income over the season must be down 150k - 200k. All that comes off the playing budget. No chance of recruiting from the National League or EFL in the forseeable future. Happily everybody else will be in the same boat.

Very strange indeed. Blimey sword, you are something of a turncoat. Maybe it's the impact of the dreaded virus but you have changed from being a hate filled villain spitting blood and demanding the manager's head, to becoming an adoring and love filled apologist for Hakan. Strange times indeed.

Maybe get Sean Shields to play for the Stones again. And what about Nathan Ashmore?

No chance. Both far too expensive, they will be looking for contracts with National League teams.

Strange times indeed. I look at it this way. He is not the greatest manager on Earth but still led us to 9th in the table. Even if he only improves us by 25% next season, whenever that is,it should be enough for payoffs which is what most people want. With all that is happening the club needs stability and if nothing else I think Hak could bring that. Having said all this if he gets the gooner I'll not cry myself to sleep.

In these challenging times when emotional well being is being mentioned more and more, I wonder what effect there has been on management and leadership at Maidstone over the last few years? For example, seem to remember Jay Saunders marriage was breaking up in his last full season with us, while John Still had major worries over his wife's health. Likewise, weren't there rumours that captain George has some home distractions, whatever they were? Ok, so they playing field is never level in these terms and everyone has 'stuff' in their lives to some degree. However, when it is major stuff, then there must be a knock on effect and not everyone can block it out when they are at work. The pendulum of fortune swings from side to side. We had several years of highs after many in the doldrums, or worse. We can only hope an upturn is about to follow soon.

Sometimes I think we just type and post random words for the sake of something to do.
