I find it hard to comprehend that Sword thinks nobpdy could have done better than Johnson in this crisis. Where to start? Why did we keep letting flights on from Wuhan and Northern Italy when pepplr were dropping like flies? Why have we only just dtarted to think it mihht be a good idea to start quarantining people at airports? Why did Johnson spend half of February missing meetings to swan about in Kent having a nice time while other leaders spotted a problem and set about dealing with it? Why did Johnson and his cohorts spend ages acting like there was no problem when there was quite clearly one erupting? Why did we go into lockdown at least one week too late (probably longer)? Why were NHS staff left with inadequate PPE gear? Why were old people sent back to care home when still carrying the virus? Why were care homes and their dtaff seemingly abandoned for half of march? Why has test, track and trace been so woeful? Why did Kohnson think it sensible to shake hands of known carriers and contract the virus? Why has Johnson seen fit to condone the actions of cummings? I'm sorry, but the handling of this, imcluding the missed testing targets and sibsequent double counting of tests, has been catastrophic. Johnson is not fit for purpose. Johnson is not a PM, this is not a government I agree with most of this but the one thing absent from your very observant rant is the name of the person who would have done better, maybe ,like me, you cannot think of one. Then there is the fact that if he had got everything right you would still find something to rant about because you dont like the man,I understand that but who, please tell me,would you prefer as I believe you just about hate every politician there is. I have said it before and I will say it again if you can do better then become an MP, I will even move down to Herne Bay to vote for you. I think you are intelligent enough, you have the drive and will to succeed but then if you were elected you would doubtless turn into a jibbering idiot like the rest of them, but at least you would be a rich jibbering idiot. A name? Pick anyone you want. I didnt go on holiday in Feb, I would have had lockdown a week earlier and I would not have shaken hands with people with the disease to pretend it was ok. On those 3 points I have beaten him. However, names...Starmer, Lucas, Sturgeon, May. Hope that is cross party enough. As for hate...i usually dislike policies but this one is different. I think we have the most inept individual in my lifetime who wants the status but not not the job. He will look to awaken any nasty little bunch he can if he believes it can get him power. He and his odious father are utterly contemptuos of the population. Then there is the personal stuff...he is scum

As I posted earlier, the great British public are part of the problem. Governments there need to act to protect the majority from the minority who are selfish and stupid. Quite
I suspect part of the rationale behind the lockdown relaxations is that the public couldn't be trusted to follow the stricter rules for longer.
I'm sure behavioural scientists said you have six weeks

Console myself that at least we don't have Trump as our leader. The smug, arrogant look on that maternal fornicator's face as he threatened to bring out the army made me cringe. As for the Bible wielding stunt, hypocrisy doesn't begin to descibe it.

And remember Trump's indignation to the Chinese sending in the red army to clamp down on the democratic right of protest in HK Sorry to be a pedant but the PRC sent in the PAP (People's Armed Police) not the PLA to 'assist' in beating up Hong Kong peaceful protesters. At least 3000 of them are here though they are easy to spot, no ID, do not understand English and bad mainland style haircuts. I did see see group of them looking lost in the centre of HK holding a map one day and thought should I offer to give a Policeman directions but discretion proved to be the better part of valour. If Agent Orange is incapable of knowing the diffrences that tells you all you need to know about him.

BBC News - Coronavirus: Could more UK lives have been saved? www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-52926198No two ways about it, the goverment have made a complete bollix of dealing with the pandemic and many extra lives have been lost as a consequence. The old and sick, and the front-line workers have been sacrificed in a cack-handed attempt to protect the economy (AKA Johnson's mates). The really stupid thing, however, is that this has failed - the economy is screwed as well. If you're going to kill people to save money, at least make sure you do it properly...
