First game off in the National League South tomorrow is Eastbourne Borough vs Wealdstone.
On checking the twitter feed that made the announcement the following appears as the 'reason'
"National league and ref were concerned for travelling away team and fans".
Anything special expected for Eastbourne from Dennis?
EDIT: Especially, as I've just been reminded, with Eastbourne having a 3G pitch. How come it's dangerous for Wealdstone but nobody else? We have further to travel and the weather is going to be worse the further west you go. It doesnt make sense. Quite
Never mind. If our game gets called off we can always go to Tonbridge or Billericay. They're both still on

Perhaps it was code to protect Eastbourne from being attacked by both storm Dennis and the Wealdstone fans at the same time..

My Wiltshire source informs me that the local council has already cancelled loads of events including the market because of the incoming storm . It's not looking good.

Whatever you say sword, we cannot afford for this game to ne called off. The fixture pile up is looking silly now and most of them will be played away. Chippenham are a struggling team. This is a must win match.

One thing is guaranteed - more National League South games will be OFF tomorrow than ON.

Well it is non-MUFC stuff. Next you will be advocating putting political discussion on the promary MUFC forum.

Pissing it down and gusting to over 50mph throughout the game. What are the odds on it being abandoned at half time?

Pissing it down and gusting to over 50mph throughout the game. What are the odds on it being abandoned at half time? Very high! With common sense the game would have already been called off by now but unfortunately common sense and the FA/referees don't go hand in hand.

Really surprised it’s going ahead.
For the NL only 3 of the scheduled 12 games are going ahead although Swindon Town which isn’t too far from Chippenham is still on

Im certain if we were not playing in these conditions we wouldn't of made those tackles appear the way they did. Having to listen online though so didnt see them.
Some ask playing another half in this weather!
