Seems remarkably difficult to predict our performances this season but with some momentum from the last two, the two teams relative league positions, it being the business end of the season and with the play offs in smelling distance, surely three points for the Stones? Another battling 0-1 or 1-2?

Another tough one to call. Chippenham have just had a good away win At Hemel H, which sent a few nerves jangling until I looked at the form table to see that Hemel Hempstead are rock bottom. Providing the game goes ahead ,and with a bad forecast for the weekend there must be an element of doubt , i think we will come away with a point at least. My prediction is my favourite scoreline that being a 2-2 draw. The attendance will push close to four figures but wont quite get there.

Tonight's game is of some interest to us - if it goes according to form/table we'll be 9th by 9:45.
Possibly the first time in my life I've wanted Welling to win...

Welling have equalised!
Although one point is still enough to knock us down to 9th.

Even if H&R win tonight, we would still be above them if we win the two games in hand.

And they only drew. This forum seems to have more than its fair share of 'nervous norris's' The fact is we are pretty well nailed on for a play off place, just look at our matches in hand and average points per match. If you take account of recent form and strengthening of midfield, its not a question of whether we will get into the play-offs, but more a question of whether we can achieve 5th or even 4th. Time for the doubters to grow some.

We have 16 games to play,I think, and that is 1.5 games per week. We only need a couple of more posponements and that soon becomes 2 games per week for the rest of the season. This may take its toll on our fitness, suspensions and general standard of play. No my dear Spider it is not nailed on.

The squad we have is more than capable of achieving a play oft spot, it's the last ten minutes. Even if we are wiping the floor with them??? 😕
