Decent interview by John post match. No great drama, disappointed but accepted that the sendings off were probably fair enough. Cost us the match and potentially 3 points. Simple enough. We just have to move on now, but with the left hand side of the team seriously weakened. Everyone always knew that the push for the play offs would depend upon the team being able to put out its best X1 or near enough. What was looking a good prospect a few days ago is looking a fair bit less rosy now. "No great drama" ...not on here

I had accumulated a bit on my online williamhill Account by gradually building up on small bets that proved to be nice little earners, then mistakenly put a lot on us to win, oh well c'est la vie

I suppose we will need to play a new pair at the back, or we play a back three with wing backs! Last time I watched us play three at the back we were rubbish! For me I would play Marshall and Johnson with Hoyte on the right and hopefully on loan Seaman can play left side. Pretty sure Amaluzar is left footed but plays on the right. The middle of the park is the most important part of the team and we are at full strength there so no reason to be too down.

This Seaman bloke is he the one we signed on loan knowing he was injured an will be out for weeks and play a very small part in our season.Another classic signing.

In this week's KM John said he was nearly ready and was hoping to get 9 or 10 games out of him. He also said he wasn't costing us anything so it's a bit of a no brainer really to have him registered so he can play when ready.

Just seen the highlights. Probably appeal both. Thought at the time they were both unlucky, and seeing it now still think the ref was a (unt. Too quick with the red both times

Got it at last!
So windy you can actually see the roofs on the covered terracing moving!
The Chesmain tackle did look a bit dodgy, although perhaps not a straight red. But George tripped over another player before sliding into the second one, so he had no real control over what hapened - surely that one at least should be cancelled?

Having seen the highlights:
Chesmain red was correct. I’m sure he didn’t mean to go that high but it was reckless and a leg breaker.
George was possibly a tad unlucky as there was a slight stumble leading into the tackle and it was possibly offside beforehand but the ref would have seen a late high tackle so again, can see why he didn’t give the red. George had a bee in his bonnet.

We need to appeal those straight reds and win at least one of them. The team simply can't afford to lose 2 key defenders at tge start of the run-in. What a blow for our play off hopes.

We need to appeal those straight reds and win at least one of them. The team simply can't afford to lose 2 key defenders at tge start of the run-in. What a blow for our play off hopes. Just watched the highlights. Noah won the ball and it seemed harsh at first view but look again and his studs were so high he could have seriously injured someone - just look at the Chippenham players reaction, they were upset, not looking for a red. We can appeal in hope for play off reasons, but I'd be surprised if we got anything - also JS2's comments don't suggest he thought it was undeserved. The conditions were awful and the pitch very slippery at the end, but it was green and it was right for the match to go ahead. Well done ref! George mistimed everything going for a ball he wanted to send skyrocketing to Swindon which he totally missed and took out an innocent bystanding player instead and knew straight away he was off, no protests from him, so again, we may appeal just in case, but it was a sending off - again no complaint from JS2. Chippenham were unlucky hitting the upright and did enough to win. We were plucky, but didn't do enough to win. Role reversal of the two teams league positions on the day - they looked like the 9th place team we looked like the relegation battlers. Just a bad day at the office. Terrible timing, given the run-in, but that's football. Now we have to prove that mettle and win the other run-in games without star players like Noah and Wishart and Big George. If we do make playoffs, we will have earned it! COYS!

And that Chippenham fan. Think he was Norwegian. What a tool That fan was definitely Norwegian as the club has a strange link with a group of supporters from Norway who visit regularly. A tool maybe, but a generous one. I am not sure what the bucket collection was for but he put 2 £20 pound notes in it. That's 2 separate words JDL so only one n this time.

Revenge for Chippenham as they finished up with 9 men in the Cup game there a few years ago. A sending off, then an injury after they'd used 3 subs.
